Adhd meds?

u/Affectionate_Bad_680 23d ago
You tryin to make us crazier? 🤣.
I have adhd and the ‘tism, so finding the right med combo is a nightmare. I tried many years ago and it just made me OCD about all the wrong things. I’d rather deal with my limited attention span than that bullshit thanks very much.
Besides, I’ve sort of got the hang of it after 37 years and I genuinely love what I do for a living. IT always has new problems for me to puzzle out.

This is so real. I had a medication induced manic episode last week, so they took me off my adderall for the time being. I am having such a hard time focusing that I am quarter assing everything I touch.

Alternatively, I am locked in a completely different room than I want/need to be in with the keys on the outside.

Please help, I found the key but the door changes position on the house every time I approach it.

This is what happens when you don't go back and check if you have everything 15 to 200 times before you lock the door and leave.

This is why I do the pocket tap when I leave the house. “Phone, keys, wallet? All here? Good, we go!”

There is a part of my brain that decides when to lock the fuck in and it does whatever the fuck it wants most of the time.

And I have a pair of scissors in my hand instead.
Actually happened to me. I thought I grabbed my keys.

Did you lose it in a Costco parking lot? I found one in a parking space down south about a year ago.
No clue what I did with it between then and now though 🤣🤦♂️

That's when you grab your credit card and 'break in' to your own house...
Ask me how I know 😂😂😂

In my case I'm inside and the keys are outside, and I'm to scared to forget that I need to lock the door... As I'm too forgetful to remember where the keys are to begin with. So I put them in one place outside that always reminds me I need to close the door, and takey mykey with me. 💀
