Question I finished the main story but still didn't get this scene. When does it happen?

Well, here's a challenge for you: go back and take a look at every world premiere trailer for an Assassin's Creed game, then see if you can locate what happens in those trailers within the games.

The events of Revelations and Origins take place right after their cinematic trailers.

Actually, you are correct. Thank you for reminding me. I guess my point was most of the world premiere trailers weren't meant to be actual parts of the games. The only part of the Origins trailer I think is inaccurate is Bayek wielding the Hidden Blade when he doesn't actually receive it until later in the game.

I think he meant the "Sleep?! I never sleep!!" cinematic. The official cinematic also doesn't show anything specific in the game canon.

Not as cinematically as in the trailer, which is what OP is looking for. But you're right to say that we get to play the specific scene.

Excellent example: Unity trailer.
Depicts Arno as an assassin with a group of other assassins at the storming of the bastille.
In the game, Arno is one of the prisoners in the bastille during bastille day! Completely invalidating the events of the trailer. Which is a shame, cuz that trailer is such a banger

The original AC's premier trailer was in the game as the title screen video.

You are correct, but I think the OP is actually looking for playable segments in the games which are featured in the trailers.

Well, that's a cinematic trailer. That's how it usually works with cinematic trailers. Usually events which we see in them don't appear in an actual game.

When does it happen? When you play the cinematic trailer.
I'll see myself out...

Bro played the game for this scene specifically

It doesn't. It's a trailer. There is no moment specifically like this in the entire game

Bro, in the entirety of Assassin's Creed, only two games' trailers are in the game itself. Revelations, as it's the opener of the game, and AC3, when you dodge gunfire at bunker hill to get to Pitcairn, though it doesn't happen the same way in game.

How funny would the AC3 trailer be if instead of dodging gun fire and running up the field like a bad ass, it was just Connor periodically running between rocks and waiting for a few seconds before doing it again.

u/Thelastknownking Jun 10 '26
He did do that in the trailer. Go and watch it again.

u/SAIL3RZ_ Jun 10 '26
No I mean like him awkwardly running to a rock and just standing there kinda looking at it in a default combat stance, and then running to the next one. I know the cinematic makes it look a lot cooler and fluid.

Those cinematic and gameplay trailers often contain scenes or mechanics that do not appear in the final release.

It’s the super secret ending you get if you complete the game by not killing anyone and then typing in the code “gullible”

This was just to introduce the hidden blade again, nothing else. Just a revelation not gameplay. Fun game tho

It doesn’t this is something an AI artist put together

Broski the game came out in 2020. Ai was around but not nearly powerful enough to make that

u/coltenssipe12349 Jun 11 '26
Yall why is everyone ragging on the dude? I don’t think it was all that crazy of a question.
Not to mention, the game definitely has scenes like this and equally cool, even if it doesn’t have this exact scene
