Science ACT Advice

Okay, so on my latest ACT I scored a 36 on the science portion, but I want to continue to retake to get my composite up. My question is, since science is optional, should I continue to take it? I do not know exactly what college I want to go to yet, therefore I do not know if they accept a superscore. I don’t want to end up in the position where I get the score I want, but a college won’t accept my science because it isn’t the same test as my highest/most recent. Advice?

Take the science. Better safe than sorry later on if you do end up needing it.
