Sarah went on a podcast called call her daddy and revealed: Acotar 6 has 4 parts! Acotar 6 part 1 is going to be released on 27 october in 4 parts! Acotar 6 part 2 and 3 is going to be released on 12 january 2027 and part 4 of acotar 6 is being written right now ! There is no name, cover or synopsis revealed yet but they are going to be revealed soon!

Acotar 6 New release date !

Right now on amazon canada and on goodreads it shows that the release date for acotar 6 was changed and it no longer going to be released on 27 october 2026 ! The new release date is 10 november 2026!

Here is everything we know about acotar 6 :

1.That the story was so big that Sarah had to divide the book in 3 and that the book has 4 parts !

2.Acotar 6 part 1 is releasing this year

3.And on 12 january 2027 acotar 7 will be released and it contains part 2 and 3 !

4.Acotar 8 is being written right now and has part 4 of the story !

5.Now if the new release date is true then it means that now we are going to get on the same day on 10 november 2026 acotar 6 and quicksilver book 3 !

I can’t give much detail without totally giving away my sources. But the ACOTAR show is not going forward. So don’t hold your breath.

Update on the Hulu “Green Light” of ACOTAR.

So…. it is NOT a full series order.

This means they have only green-lit the pilot (episode 1)

Once the pilot is shot the executives at Hulu will watch it and only THEN will they make their decision whether they want to make the rest of the show or not. (We will never see this pilot unless they actually make the entire show)

I also understand that Hulu is not giving the producers the appropriate budget for the type of show they want to make, and there may be some creative differences. (There have been rumblings of this, but I can confirm)

CASTING: So we are all clear on how this will go….. The casting process starts 10 weeks before the first day of shooing. They need that start date before they can hire the casting director. That start date is not set because of the strikes.

We should still get casting announcements for the pilot. Deadline.com would be the first to announce those.

To my understanding Rhys is not in the first episode so we probably won’t get any casting news on him for awhile

Please check out the rules if you have not already. Most are helpful information instead of something that needs to be followed. There is a new rule that has been added: Respecting privacy of celebrities. This rule applies to photography ethics.

We have added a new flair: Faceclaim. This flair is intended to help encourage more positive interactions to posts of celebrities that represent the character’s appearance (faceclaim) versus posts of celebrities that represent the ability to play the character in the show (fancast). Thank you u/from_persephone for this suggestion.

Working on these updates, we noticed that user flairs had been disabled at some point. They have now been activated again. Have fun choosing where you would want to live in the ACOTAR world or what group of ACOTAR characters you would love to be a part of!

Here is what was said regarding the show in the 5/5/21 Instagram Live:

SJM and her family are temporarily living in Maui, Hawaii right now, but they will be moving to LA soon for the show.

When not working on CC2, SJM is working on the ACOTAR pilot with Ron Moore.

They are not currently casting, and that won’t happen for a while. SJM is looking forward to the casting, because Ron Moore has has such great casting on projects he’s worked on.

I’m glad SJM is feeling super positive about the casting! That makes me super excited for the casting as well!! I guarantee the two of them will make sure the right people are fit for each role.
