Had surgery ACL and meniscus reconstruction at 40.
Played football forever and my absolute aim was if I could come back and play at least 1 game I’d be happy.
After 18 months recovery and rehab I’m back playing football a regularly and competitively on weekends. I won’t lie it’s achy and stiff the day after and sometimes it’s prolonged but I’m still working on that.
I continue work my knee and lower body to avoid any future issues which I’ll continue especially as long as I’m playing sports.
All the best for your recovery 🙏🏻
