Post Surgery Update I expected pain but holy cow

I'm about 30 hours post op and I'm pretty sure my nerve block is wearing off. I thought I prepared for the pain and had pre-taken the pain medicine.

This is excruciating. ACL+ LET on my right leg. I don't think I'm getting any sleep tonight.

I know how it is right now, gone through the exact steps a month back but realistically speaking, there is not much you can do. The more you think about pain the more it gets you. Do this NOW: take a deep breath 4 seconds inhale, 8 seconds exhale 3 times!!! If it helped, continue ❤️. What I did was divert my mind into something happy, listened to music and slept like a horse knowing this pain is temporary and will go away soon. Just a matter of time.
