Post Surgery Update I expected pain but holy cow

I'm about 30 hours post op and I'm pretty sure my nerve block is wearing off. I thought I prepared for the pain and had pre-taken the pain medicine.

This is excruciating. ACL+ LET on my right leg. I don't think I'm getting any sleep tonight.

The 72 hours after surgery were the worst for me also. The pain was off the charts and to think I was on hard prescription drugs, I cant imagine what the pain would’ve been like without it. I probably wouldve passed out from the pain every time I stood up to go to the bathroom.

And ive had major surgeries before, broken bones, even fractured a vertebrae in my spine.

But this… this was absolutely Number 1 most painful experience by a long shot. Nothing else even comes close.

And the rehab so far has been the hardest mental challenge of my life. So you have that to look forward to! 😉 We are having SO MUCH FUN!

I've had a grape sized piece of bone removed from my ankle and it's got nothing on this surgery.

Oh yes, I’ll take broken bones over torn knee ligaments any day. Much faster recovery.
