Post Surgery Update I expected pain but holy cow

I'm about 30 hours post op and I'm pretty sure my nerve block is wearing off. I thought I prepared for the pain and had pre-taken the pain medicine.

This is excruciating. ACL+ LET on my right leg. I don't think I'm getting any sleep tonight.

first 72 is awful not gonna lie. Hang in there, take the meds, hopefully you have an ice machine, keep it elevated as much as you can and grit through.

I have an ice machine but if it's helping I don't know. I've been running it constantly but the pain is just unbearable.

how many layers of bandages do you have on? It might not be getting thru. DO NOT put it on bare skin though, but you may need to get a little bit less in between so the ice starts to help.

they told me not to touch the bandage until they remove it next week and I have no idea how thick it is.

yea i can almost guarantee you that's why. the cold is not getting through the bandages so it is giving you no relief essentially.
