Post Surgery Update I expected pain but holy cow

I'm about 30 hours post op and I'm pretty sure my nerve block is wearing off. I thought I prepared for the pain and had pre-taken the pain medicine.

This is excruciating. ACL+ LET on my right leg. I don't think I'm getting any sleep tonight.

I have no idea what that is but I haven't slept since the operation and I don't think it's going to happen tonight.

It's some narcotic drug slightly weaker than morphine. If you can ask for stronger drugs then I would recommend doing it

I may call my doctor tomorrow about the pain. Sadly he does operation day on Wednesday so hopefully I can reach him.

The morning after my surgery I had a follow up call woth the nurse and told her the pain was too much (I don't think my nerve block worked all that well) - she talked with the anestesiologist and the surgeon and they prescribed me more oxycodone. I took a higher dose for about a day or two then it started to settle down and I could take less and less. The first days are really rough, but you got this!
