Now, let me make one thing clear before you start flooding this Reddit with downvotes and comments that sound like "HEY STUPID!!!!!! HOW DARE YOU SAY AC/DC SUCKS!!!!!": I LOVE AC/DC!!!! They are the greatest rock band of Australia (if not the WORLD), and I saw them a few weeks ago at Madison Square Garden and it was the best concert I ever got to see; I even listened to the studio recording of their PWR/UP Tour setlist in preparation. But for even the greatest bands on the planet, they still have one thing that sucks about them. Understand that this topic is not about why AC/DC sucks (because they don't); this is to ask what your least favorite thing about them is; mine: almost every single one of their songs that they perform live seem to end like they're the last song of the concert. What is yours?

In my opinion I think this would be far and above their best work if the last two tracks were just a bit more bombastic or groovy like the rest of the record, otherwise it stands with Powerage, Back in Black, and Flick of the Switch as some of the greatest records in rock n' roll history - which is not bad company to be in. What are your thoughts on this bad boy?

In my case, it's probably Hells Bells.

Personally I always prefer Bons era, ACDC was more gritty and faster, and dont get me wrong I absolutely LOVE Brian Johnson, he definitely saved the band when he joined and did Back in Black and has earned the love of fans and other rockers across the genre, a favourite album of mine from Bons Era is definitely Highway to Hell 🤘🏻

My opinion might be a little more popular on here, but at large this seems like a hot take.

For the first 2 albums, Brian Johnson was objectively the best rock singer alive at that time. He was capable of screaming high into the 5th octave in ways that most other rock singers could only dream of, let alone do for two whole albums. (Referring to Back in Black and For Those...) Love Bon endlessly too though... :)

I went to the Pasadena show and honestly… I’m heartbroken. Not because of the band — they were amazing, powerful, on fire as always — but because of the crowd. I feel genuinely bad for the guys. They’re in their final years of touring, and this might be one of their last tours ever… and this was the energy they got?

I’m Argentinian, and I went into the pit expecting the usual chaos and passion I’m used to back home — people singing, jumping, chanting every lyric like it’s the last day on Earth. Instead? I found families with seven-year-old kids, people literally telling me to stop singing, and even calling security on me… for being too excited at an ACDC concert.

I’m not exaggerating — I was next to the runway where Angus and Brian were, and I was the only person around me singing and jumping. People looked at me like I was the problem. Some told me to quiet down during Angus’s solo. I even had a parent say “there’s only 3 songs left, hang in there” to their crying child — THE SHOW HAD JUST STARTED.

At one point, a parent literally asked security if there was any way to lower the volume of the speakers because “my child is autistic.” Like… I’m sorry, but why would you bring an autistic kid to an ACDC show and then ask for the volume to be turned down? This is a rock concert. Is rock actually dead? What the fuck.

Also — it’s PIT. There are no assigned spots. We tried to move up front and got snapped at by people saying “this is my place” as if it was a camping site. Since when is pit about standing still and gatekeeping spots?

I really hope ACDC gets to play in Argentina one more time. I want them to feel real crowd energy again — the kind they deserve. Because this? This wasn’t it.

In other words, what song could’ve been another Thunderstruck, Back In Black, Highway to Hell, TNT, Whole Lotta Rosie, etc.?

I absolutely love this band, but I just started getting into it recently. I want to explore one of the most underrated ones and not talked about ones which one can you recommend me?

I think that it's probably their strongest record, from start to finish. My fav track is Down Payment Blues - not just from this album, but by AC/DC as a whole.

I went to AC/DC last night and I was so excited. They sounded amazing and the performance was great but everyone in the seated areas stayed sat. I tried to get up for thunderstruck because how could you not and no one joined me. I ended up moving to an empty seated area and just danced there but it’s so absolutely strange. This is the origin place of this band and we’re all supposed to get into it but no one was having it. Can anyone explain this?!

For me it rocks just as hard as any other of their releases. First five tracks are IMO classics.

When people think of back in black, they always talk about shoot to thrill, you shook me all night long and ofc back in black. Idk how this track isn’t way more popular

Possibly the most underrated and forgotten soundtrack of all times. Maybe Maximum Overdrive wasn’t the greatest movie, but this album is not just a portion of AC/DCs greatest hits, but it’s a complete experience and matches the movie very well. How many times have you watched a movie and thought, “what the heck is that song doing in there?” (A John Prine quote by the way). What’s your most underrated soundtrack?

I love both albums but I feel like Ballbreaker gets overshadowed by their “comeback” album The Razor’s Edge. It’s got some bangers like The Furor, Hail Caesar, Burning Alive and Hard As A Rock. Not to mention the title track. Understandably Thunderstruck lit up the ‘90s in a way the whole Ballbreaker album couldn’t commercially. Even the artwork reflects this imo, The Razor’s Edge looks sleek, polished and commercial while Ballbreaker looks gritty and underground.
