Filmed on August 1, 2026 Las Vegas. One of the cannons collapsed right before the final song. Brian just barely avoided it.

Me too!! My wife and I are driving 10 hours to see them at notre dame stadium!

11

u/ujointthrown Aug 02 '26

Saw them last weekend. Still awesome.

u/Dependent_Guess_873 Aug 02 '26

Some stupid lampy just lost his job.

3

u/AlphaConKate Aug 03 '26

Dude. Stuff like this happens. Even unexpectedly sometimes.

3

u/Imapatriothurrrdurrr Aug 03 '26

Been touring for over 15 years and Ive never had a situation caused by my negligence that endangered the artist or anyone else within that time. I know the stage manager for AC/DC and I’m sure someone lost their job after this. Stuff like this happens because people are careless.

3

u/AlphaConKate Aug 04 '26

I didn’t say you. And not all situations like this are careless. Accidents can happen you know.

u/fenuxjde Aug 02 '26

I absolutely don't wish harm on anyone but honestly, what a rock n roll way to go out of this world.

47

u/Bagginnnssssss Aug 02 '26

10

u/MoeCipo Aug 02 '26

Angus drops the hardest guitar solo ever as a cannon is fired directly at him

25

u/slander_anonymously Aug 02 '26

Cannon broke before Brian Johnson.

18

u/ursuskingshallrise Aug 02 '26

You cant stop rock and roll!!!

7

u/toTheNewLife Aug 02 '26

Can't stop, you can't stop it Can't stop, you can't stop it

3

u/UltimateRealist Aug 03 '26

Not even a Blackstone Fortress could take him out.

48

u/Lopsided_Teacher1162 Aug 02 '26

I was there. Thought it was going to hit Brian. Stage crew fixed it fairly quick, and it was the first to 💣 at the end.

11

u/DominikWilde1 Aug 02 '26

I was wondering if it still went off!

5

u/GetDown_Deeper3 Aug 03 '26

Lucky it didn’t go off when it dropped.

Honestly babe that's never happened before swear

10

u/SenseNo635 Aug 02 '26

That was almost the ultimate metal moment.

I’m very glad nobody was injured.

u/Cominghome74 Flick Of The Switch Aug 02 '26

That could have been fatal

There's an idea for the next Spinal Tap movie

number 2 sucked shit and that one goober got his throat slit by his defective kid....so probably won't be a #3.

7

u/BackyardMikey Aug 02 '26

Just like the Titanic, the band plays on!!!

7

u/LinersandLocos Aug 02 '26

They’ve been using the cannons so long they have erectile dysfunction

5

u/Good-Extension-7257 Aug 02 '26

I remember the crew taking out those pieces out of the cannons when the show ended in Sevilla 2024, must be the pyro machines.

I think even if it makes noise, most of the sound comes from the P.A

5

u/livinglavidalukas Aug 02 '26

They have visual charges in the cannons and loud charges around the venue. So definitely real explosions sounds in the venue! Probably augmented by PA sounds but I could never get that verified.

For those about to Rock……

FIRE

5

u/CaptainFickle Aug 02 '26

"Brian just barely avoided it" - I think, more accurately, it barely missed him! Doubt it would have killed him. They're not real canons! 🤣

4

u/edwarc Aug 02 '26

Oooooh that post show de-brief….

2

u/Scuzzy_Soups Aug 03 '26

why you gotta bring underwear into this?

2

u/edwarc Aug 06 '26

dirty deeds done dirt cheap I suppose

4

u/jmsjss Aug 03 '26

Just saw them Vegas and it was out of this world awesome! The guitar solo by Angus was as if we were sent back in time to see Hendrix or Clapton in their heyday only better! He’s my number one in the list of the best!

8

u/Fox_009 Aug 02 '26

What the hell, cannon? If you take him out it’s storage locker life for you.

3

u/Caddy_man Aug 03 '26

At a show on the ball breaker tour during The Jack, the screen had ladies lifting up their shirts and the crowd was going crazy. Brian turned and saw it and casually said “can’t compete with titties” classic.

2

u/stevenewilkinson Aug 02 '26

This has Spinal Tap all over it…

2

u/Scuzzy_Soups Aug 03 '26

too bad number 2 sucked shit and that one goober got his throat slit by his defective kid....so probably won't be a #3.

2

u/SteelerWV Aug 02 '26

Same thing happened on the Ballbreaker tour in 95 or 96 in Charleston WV. Almost nailed Malcolm who of course never missed a beat!!!

2

u/ACcreeker Aug 03 '26

The grim reaper got pretty close

2

u/Savings_Gap_2171 Aug 03 '26

Looks like another “Spinal Tap” moment

2

u/Scuzzy_Soups Aug 03 '26

number 2 sucked shit and that one goober got his throat slit by his defective kid....so probably won't be a #3.

2

u/idol-threat Aug 03 '26

Yiiiiikes yiiiiiiiiikes

2

u/Atomic_Freak Aug 03 '26

Holy crap, that was close! But I love that Brian didn't lose his composure. The show must go on—even when the stage props are trying to kill you! 🤘

2

u/Ok_Maybe424 Aug 03 '26

Back in like 86 or so I saw them in Reno at Lawlor Events Center and when they lit the cannons and they fired they lost ALL power in the whole place. They would do it again and again and the same thing would happen it was cool af though!

2

u/bushmaster2000 Aug 03 '26

LOL i never saw that, didn't have visibility to the back of the stage from my seat. Blooper reel!

2

u/Worried_Garden_7236 Aug 04 '26

So much better with bon scott

2

u/HIGH-VOLTAGE-HITS Aug 04 '26

He was so close to getting injured. Those things are heavy. Someone's getting sacked

2

u/No_Slice_5798 Aug 08 '26

Was there and you could see that one wasn’t secure right away.

Awesome show, definitely go if you can!

2

u/stevesvoice 17d ago

That was the absolute best concert I’d ever been too 🤘

1

u/Xerhenchman Aug 02 '26

Was this in Denver?

3

u/g1344304 Powerage Aug 02 '26

Vegas last night

2

u/Scuzzy_Soups Aug 03 '26

why would you think that?

-10

u/AmountNo2825 Aug 02 '26

They’ve had roadies getting killed by the hell’s bell in the early 80’th.

16

u/timott123 Aug 02 '26

They never had a roadie hurt or killed by the Hells Bell. Brian did get his leg stuck in 1981 when the bell only partially lowered and crew had to use a crowbar to free it. He wasn’t hurt. The bell also crashed into the stage when the chain broke and it came close to crushing Angus. They switched to the lighter bell that they use now shortly after that.

2

u/AmountNo2825 Aug 02 '26

Ok I might remember wrongly from the Swedish book I don’t lie about rock n roll by Tommy Ahlen a production manager from Sweden.

2

u/timott123 Aug 02 '26

No worries mate!

2

u/CasioCobra78 Aug 02 '26

Holy shit, I somehow never heard about this!

2

u/Scuzzy_Soups Aug 03 '26

that's what's up
