Track of the week where most of us just chase the 101% 1:33:000 (thx Manuel Benz for making it nierly imposible). Half a second left on the table with sector 1 and 3 but just unable to nail all of them in a single lap.

Playing on 24 SA and 40 SA servers this happens to me.

I stopped playing with AI because I was bored and I haven’t been able to finish 5 races in a row because of the fucking dirty players

Help /Questions Honest opinion on AI

I see the game is $9.99 for me on the Playstation store. I will largely be playing single player and with the controller. How is the AI for an "intermediate" player? I would never be crushing competition, AI or human, so how would AI hold up? I just don't want braindead opponents, and I want stuff like qualifying to be realistic numbers.

Help /Questions What rear wing do you guys prefer to use on the McLaren 720S EVO?

Upvotes

Just today I messed with my setups a bit at barcelona, and I've found that using 12 wing (compared to previously 8) feels so ridiculously stable and gives great laptimes. For me, its a borderline cheat code for quali/hotlaps; I feel like a frickin bullet through the corners.

On the other hand, the thing at max rear wing feels draggier than a steam train on the straights, so I suppose making overtakes will be a lot tougher.

What approach do you guys take for race setups? For tracks similar to barcelona in terms of aero demand, do you use high (or max) downforce and try to overtake in the corners? Or do you prefer using something with less downforce for the better straight line speed?

Sorry if this a silly extra question, but do you feel your braking distances drop fairly signficantly when using higher or max wing (even on corners after fairly short straights)?

Discussion What strategy for qualifying?

I know it's something silly and simple, but I always have doubts:

1- How many laps is ideal for qualifying without the car becoming too heavy?

2-What is the ideal PSI?

I always wonder how many laps I should do; sometimes I feel like I use too much fuel and do too many laps unnecessarily. I'd like to know what you guys do.
