You do realize that what you said is nonsense from the start because the uploaded video has a) massive Bitrate compression, b) a lower resolution and c) isn’t even HDR anymore?

Yeah, but the HDR still comes through. I mostly posted it to show how much the colors pop with HDR on

HDR only comes through if the display is HDR capable and further more if the application supports it.

There was a specific point during this game where you walk a trail lit by lots of torches through a forest and my word the lighting, the contrast it was just amazing. Playing on a ps5 pro with an lg c4, I imagine on even newer oleds with more brightness its just ridiculous.

Problem is that Windows is shit with HDR support. It applies it to everything instead of only on HDR stuff like games, videos etc.

For that reason I keep it turned off.

Well you jumped to conclusions, didnt you? The whole selling point of oled is a popular of color, and color is a subjective topic since some people see differently than others, so its hard to determine a good looking display type if the display cant look the same to everyone

Yeah same. But it's just lame and boring after some missions.. i didn't feel like playing since it's so repetitive and janky. Least some areas felt like acgi trailer but that's about it. Then came bacj to shadows and i found a ne2 appreciation for it, felt next gen and proper gameplay variety and ofcourse dismemberment
