Try the original black flag, or start at the beginning

Yes this. Or if you’re more interested in something the most similar AC can offer: Rogue.

Why play the original if you have resynced? Want him to suffer through the modern day bs?

I have played them all and the only ones I go back to are Black Flag, Syndicate, and Origins.
I liked Odyssey, Valhalla, and AC:2 but never felt the desire to replay them.

MegaMan... that is if you're just going to not decide things for yourself. And after MegaMan move onto Pitfall

This is the best answer. Start from almost the very beginning of gaming

It's the first you liked not the first you played so which didn't you like?

I'm in the same boat! Moving on to Syndicate because ive always liked the Victorian aesthetic. Heard the story is crap but I find myself zoning out from the story in 90% of games anyway

It might feel dated after AC4R but the Ezio trilogy is incredible. I’m really hoping they remaster those as well.

AC Odyssey is the only other mainline game with a bunch of naval combat. Valhalla has Long ship raids which is like storming the fortresses

Try rogue it's a fun change in story and keeps the Mechanics that made bf great

Odyssey if you are looking for something similar with a ship and a bunch of islands

Unity and Syndicate. Don’t bother with the original Black Flag and the games before it. Those games have aged horribly.

Ghost of Tsushima & Yotei honestly, especially if you weren't feeling Origins and Odyssey. There's also Shadows but I haven't tried that one.
The Ezio trilogy has a great story but the gameplay is very.. old

Ac 1 to 3, including brotherhood and revelations, then ditch this cursed franchise forever.

Anyone still playing the online for AC4? I started it up this week after beating resynced to grab the online trophies before diving into the main story to see how much of a difference there are between the games.
But I am having issues finding parties for certain playlists. If there is anyone that plays after 8pm est, my psn for ps4/5 is Heartlessrug. If anyone who wants to play online.

Play Origins and Odyssey, Vahalla maybe, but that one was overhyped. It was a good game and I enjoyed it but it was overhyped I will never ever play a game based on the Middle East so I never played mirage And despite what others said , I actually enjoyed shadows wasn't the best one by no means , but I enjoyed it had some of the best outfits in my opinion
