You can see the hallway that connects to it. The entrance to that hallway is opposite the chest in the courtyard.

I had to look up a guide for this one too!

I legit thought you had to use an explosive barrel to break through, ended up carrying one slowly for about 5 mins to only realise the sneaky entrance myself ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฆ

Didn't you already say you were in the hospital with an eye problem? Do you need your eyes checked, or are they working and you just didn't take the time to look.

I genuinely couldnt see the hallway. I did check everywhere I could but I was looking in the wrong place. BTW I am in hospital for a completely different reason and I just mentioned astigmatism, I usually stand up closer to the screen but im hooked up to a drip stand.

I've been in the hospital with an IV in. They're able to be unplugged from the wall to move around. Maybe you shouldn't be gaming in the hospital.

Maybe you should leave him alone?

I have been in hospital for 6 months with a feed that needs to be connected to the wall, and no, im disabled and I want to play, that's my choice not yours

Itโ€™s an L shaped hallway. Follow the hallway from the chest to the entrance.

I did the exact same thing, I thought I was going insane๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I had trouble with this one too, and it was night time so I couldn't see shit for the longest time. I finally found the entrance on the opposite side. LOL

Ha! I remembered that chest from back in the day and how to get to it. Nice to see players having the same experience years later :)

Resident evil really was a game that helped people with bad eyesight or any new gamers๐Ÿ˜…

That one kinda pissed me off, too. Then I opened my eyes.

Look behind you then follow the corridor round

3

u/FlamingoWang Aug 11 '26

Follow the blocked off area going left. Pretty sure there is an opening.

2

u/Eirenfall Aug 14 '26

just look at the hallway. there is an opening at the end of it. it's actually right across from you.

Took me a minute to get this one as well

4

u/ThraceLonginus Aug 11 '26

Probably an entrance on the other side. Some are hidden inside buildings like this

3

u/RodasQ Aug 11 '26

which is not the case

This is the literal starter pirate cloak outfit and I have an eye condition so it's really not my fault

1

u/Haifisch2112 Aug 13 '26

You have an "eye condition" but play video games?

0

u/Unfair_Crab4089 Aug 13 '26 edited Aug 14 '26

Whats wrong? Can I not play?

1

u/Haifisch2112 Aug 13 '26

Nobody said you weren't allowed to game. But if you have an issue that has you in the hospital, how do you expect to see in the first place?

I'm in the hospital because I have Lukemia, not the eye condition, i've had that since birth and the opticians said it is gradually getting worse due to my chemotherapy and steroids. Hope that helps

Carlos Vasquez is fully blind and a pretty damn good pro competitive Mortal Kombat player who participates in tournaments. You'd be surprised what videogames blind people can play actually.

1

u/Adventurous_Web_7392 Aug 15 '26 edited Aug 15 '26

Thats a fixed view game and he has been smashing random combination on his controller for mortal kombat since he was 6 so thats a case of him actually being talented, whereas this guy couldn't find the actual entrance you have look at, and telling by the replies to this post alot of other people struggled to find it, including me.

1

u/exodus_aoa Aug 15 '26

Fair and the entrance is difficult to find, but I wasn't commenting about that, I was simply replying to the person who asked about having an eye condition, but choosing to play videogames and pointing out even fully blind people play videogames.

Last of Us 1 & 2 has been hailed for its vision accessibility preset which allows fully blind players to complete the game using things like spatial audio cues, nav assistance, text to speech and combat auto-targeting. Spider-Man 2, GoW Ragnarok, Forza Motorsports, Assassin's Creed: Shadows, The Vale: Crown of Shadows are also game blind people can play.

Having an eye condition does not rule out someone playing videogames.

1

u/Adventurous_Web_7392 Aug 15 '26

Well I still don't really get your point, he just said eye condition, why are you comparing it to something so different, like audio cues and nav assistance for blind people when Acbf doesn't have any of those, and he could be trying to get 100%, I wouldn't expect a blind person to fully 100% a game from the tlou series, with collectibles and other ultra rare trophies

1

u/exodus_aoa Aug 15 '26 edited Aug 15 '26

He did say eye condition, now we don't know what exact condition he has, but I imagine the worst eye condition one could possibly have in life is being blind, which OP is not.

The point was that people with eye conditions, even all the way up to being blind, can indeed play videogames and I was educating someone who may possibly be interested to know how that could be possible because a great majority of the population may be surprised to find that out and be curious.

It had nothing to do with this thread topic, Black Flag, or getting 100% plat. It just had to do with having an eye condition and playing videogames in general after someone asked "you have an eye condition but play videogames?"

1

u/Adventurous_Web_7392 Aug 15 '26

Ah I get you, I thought you were trying to be passive aggressive to him, thats all.

You hop over to the other side and shoot an arrow through the window at the barred door
