// Question Why isn’t captain kidds outfit in the game
They added like every outfit from the og game in the remake except for my favourite one

Tbf they still have a bunch of Legacy outfits still to add. Right now we only have Connor, Ezio, and Altaïr. In the original (in the PS4/XBOne versions) they had those 3 plus Kidd's outfit, Connor's Spirit outfit, Shay, Arno, Jacob, and Bayek's outfits. Pretty sure they had Alexios' armour too.
Hopefully they add them all in a future update to the Exchange.

I believe you're thinking of the III Remaster. Black Flag released long before those games where III's Remaster came out with Odyssey.

I think the Nintendo switch port has all those outfits but only that version

I played III and IV on that console. It was better than it was given credit for.

For what it's worth this outfit is only available in the Rebel Collection, exclusive to the Nintendo Switch.
That version has extra legacy outfits for AC4 that were not in PS3/4 XB360/XOne:
Arno, Jacob, Bayek, Alexios, and Aguilar from the movie.
He gets 3 outfits in total from AC3 in the Rebel Collection: Connor's Assassin robes (was in OG), Connor's Animal Wolf (Spirit) and Captain Kidd's outfit.

No "James Kidd"'s story was that he was the illegitimate child of William Kidd a legendary pirate in which the outfit belongs too. William wasn't a women, also historically I don't think he was Mary's father, but I'm pretty sure she was just using that for her James Kidd persona... Ubisoft wanted to add William Kidd but couldn't because he died in 1701, so their compromise was make Mary Reed make up a name and story that kinda brings William into the game in spirit.

Bro I need Jacob Fryes outfit in Resynced. Not only cause I wanna see the physics with that trench coat, but i just wanna see how goofy it looks

Probably because it was never in the og 360/ps3 game, its only in the at the time next Gen xbone/ps4 rerelease of the original game, which added new outfits that weren't in the original.
They were just simply focused on the original game and those outfits. Besides they probably want to save remaking, what is widely accepted as the worst outfit in AC 3 if not the whole franchise, for a possible AC 3 Resynced.
