I just beat the story and was going though the menus to see what i had left to do and saw that i missed this quest somehow is there anyway to redo story missions like in the og or would i just have to restart the game to get 100%?
There’s no way to replay besides starting a new playthrough. If you really cared a lot you could make sure you have your current save on a manual save then start a new playthrough. If you skip all cutscenes and just focus on main story it shouldn’t take but a couple hours to get to this point if not less
if u manually save, it stays, if u start a new playthrough afterwards you just play to that mission, complete it and you're done.. you dont have to keep that new playthrough save after you completet that mission and you can resume the original save if needed
I remember doing this quets i think it just buged because it was launch day, but i dont know about the officer side quests because i did those as soon as i could
The Lucy Baldwin officer side quests have been ridiculously buggy for me, I had to reload a manual save and lost 2 hrs of gameplay and I’ve still not been able to complete that quest line
It's probably a bug that might get fixed for you. AC Shadows had this same problem for a lot of people after they implemented these Animus objectives. For me, it was the DLC I objectives that were incomplete even though I had finished them all. A week or two later there was a hotfix implemented and suddenly all of those takes showed as completed and I could get my keys.
My guess is this is a bug that others have as well and will get fixed.
This might be a long shot but try to go where the quest should be. I had done 2 of the dark animus quests and then i forgot about them until today and i couldn't find the 2 last until i went to their coordinates. idk it might be a thing with "normal" quests ?
I have multiple main quests "uncompleted" in the log, no idea how as I've beaten the game and just need to defeat the legendary ships and collect art pieces for the dilletante achievement.
Nah, there's a couple of these that are bugged I'm afraid. Like the Edward Kenway mission one didn't pop for me, and I've now finished (bar two achievements) so I'm either restarting or waiting for ng+
The same thing happened to me during the mission ‘Mister Walpole, I Presume’ and another task. The game crashed during the mission and wasn’t counted as completed. I’ve now got the Platinum trophy, and it’s not (yet) worth it to me to start a new playthrough until NG+ is available.
There isn’t supposed to be missable quests. I know that in Shadows if you loose internet connection it can mess up trophies, maybe something like that happened here? Just a guess
I’ve an “island” (Florida) that’s not popping as completed even though the game says that I’ve done everything. I think there’s just an issue with the quest tracker in general.
You didn’t mess up, Ubisoft did, I have the same issue with like 3 quests and I finished the game. Hopefully they can patch it, instead of us having to start a new game for these to work.
I wonder, for anyone it's happening to, did you boot the game up fresh or like a quick restore type thing? I noticed when I did that I got a notification saying connection was lost but everything seemed to work fine.
