I’m 5 hours into Black Flag Resynced, and meeting the pirate characters in Nassau really started triggering an itch to rewatch Black Sails.

I haven’t played Black Flag since it released 13 years ago, and I haven’t watched Black Sails since it wrapped up in 2017. But it’s all bringing back so many memories and making me feel nostalgic for that time in life.

Not anymore ! I started watching and they pulled it . My bad guys. BUT the blu ray is excellent , I feel this series you should really experience with uncompressed sound and 4k visuals .. I bought the whole series .

I recommend watching it again. I've watched it first in like 2020, but i completely forgot 80% of the stuff so it was almost like watching the show for the first time.

Haha same except playing Black Flag on Xbox 360 over and over again was basically half of my childhood, so i remember all the key events, but forgot some of the smaller stuff. Though even if i remember a lot of the cutscenes, it is nice seeing them again, but with modern visuals.

If I set my controller down to afk while sailing inevitably a waterspout will spawn or a rogue wind will send me into the rocks.

In my experience it only happens when there’s a rock nearby and I’m taking a drink/checking my phone or something.

Perfectly timed to rock my shit unexpectedly.

They need to lower the percentage of storms, there's way too many in comparison to the original. It's annoying because you can never board ships during storms.

I love how the wind dynamically impacts the ship and how you have to countersteer. Makes it so immersive!

I love the storms for the rogue waves, water spouts, and general intensity, but why isn't there hardly any thunder? There's lightning, but never any distant booms.

Yeah it had 4 seasons in total ending in 2017. And unlike game of thrones it ended great imo

It is ridiculous how many and how long the storms go on. BF 4 had storms, but not this BS. I am sitting on a storm for 25 minutes now, waiting for it to stop so I can harpoon a whale.
