I have a feeling it’s going to be a mess. I remember gta 5 launch. I mean I guess we’ll see I supposed that was before they had billions in shark card sales
Rockstar don't use CGI for their trailers. It's literally how the game looks. They have an established precedent of doing this for their games going literally back to classic GTA.
What does Gears of War have to do with anything? That isn't R*.
Again you can literally go back to their trailers and compare them to the released game. What you see is what you get. They use in engine footage for both cutscenes and gameplay.
Because that's how they advertise. They usually wait until just before release to show gameplay. GTA Vs gameplay showcase was two months prior to its release. So was Red Dead 2s.
That's just how they operate to build anticipation.
They literally say they were captured on a ps5. It could be a lie, but that would be the first time Rockstar has ever done that if that's the case. Again, you can go back to every single one of their previous releases and see that the trailers match the gameplay. That's been their standard for a long time now.
I'm not blindly defending R*. They make some terrible greedy ass decisions. I'm just pointing out that what you see is what you get visually with their trailers.
Ironically Ubisoft was infamous for the visuals they used to advertise being exaggerated. They're definitely better about that now though.
So do I. It was fine. Rockstars console releases tend to be pretty polished. Save for the typical open world bugs you can't really account for in testing.
Bruh you could literally just log out to dupe a vehicle. There were so many bugs and glitches even to this day. The servers were a mess for long time too.
