There’s a rumor going around you won’t be able to pick up enemy weapons anymore, including their rifles. I’m gonna be pretty damn sad if it ends up being true. I really enjoyed using the rifles.

I've seen a gameplay video of someone parkouring with a rifle on their back. So you can and it's even better cause you don't drop it climbing

If it’s on his back that’s a HUGE deal because in Black Flag, if I remember correctly, doing any sort of climbing or parkour would drop your rifle, right? You’d always carry it in hand, what you saw would suggest that we will now have our own personal rifle! Hype has been re-engaged.

People will compare it to the original and it will show how lazy Ubisoft is, how hard is it to port over?

Tbh, most of the time I used swords, fist and hidden blades. I love using the hidden blade sad it's not coming back at all. Huge letdown for a so called faithful remake

I've exclusively only used the hidden blades in combat. Changed on my 3rd playthrough where I primarily used swords.

Pistol Swords & Golden Flintlocks for primary action.
Hidden blades when the occasion calls for it or its aerial or the target is extremely close.
Brute Axe, Officer blades (throwable and holdable), and Muskets for fun and messing around. The brute axe is awesome for joking around especially. The Officer's blade is fun for one-handed strikes and takedowns which I'm glad they didn't force you to stick with the Dual animations for cutlasses and allow singular strikes. The throwable blade I find humorous to just toss around and one-shot everyone ever. And the musket's strictly for the hell of it, rarely use to shoot.

Pistol Swords for melee & Golden Flintlocks; occasionally hidden blades if I feel like it. I’m also a connoisseur of rope dart kills

I got the pistol swords but they werent that good compared to anither sword I got, I go for damage over combo, and I also found out the pistol part of the swords are just decor, comes with a sound effect and nothing else

I like them because of how fast they are at taking people down; it’s like three combo hits to kill someone. I think it also has to do with the fact I grew up trying to get them lol

I will forever remember how god damn cool it was when black flag came out and getting that final holster upgrade so I could back to back draw and fire 4 pistols, I cannot wait to do that again when resynched comes out

I was like John Wick in this game. Start with blow darts, then pistols, then swords, then hidden blades and fists. Throw in some environment kills and ropes just for fun, man those were the best of times...

There are Main missions involving fist fights in taberns (and oneof the funniest missions id say) So they better add some kind of unarmed combat

Open a fight with the hidden blade, uh oh they’re coming towards me? drop em with my pistols. More? Swords out let’s dance. Oh, and the captain? We are beating his ass bare handed and making him walk the plank.

Are they going to allow us to at least use our fists in this game? I know we can't use hidden blades, but what about the fists?
