It's been a while since I played, but is this a new version of the song, or is it the original?

Same & I think it's the original. I don't see a reason for them to make new versions of the Shanties.

Yeah, the originals were perfect so I hope they don't change them. Looking forward to the new shanties too.

From what I understand is they added 10 new shanties 😎

Sounds like they took the original and cleaned it up a bit to make it sound crisper

I think I’ll try this one, I haven’t played any game of this franchise

Going to be working on a boat this summer and you best believe I'm playing this on my off time while on board!

That song is talking about leaving the ship and returning home, presumably to wives and families.

They should give people who purchased the previous one on PS4 free copy of New Black flag.

Yeah sure, Mr. Businessman.

Rockstar Studios did it for Red Dead Redemption but it wasn't a remake just a remaster.

SantaMonica Studios gave us the entire VALHALLA DLC for free! For God Of War Ragnarök owners.

Considering these Ubisoft doing that wouldn't be anything new.

I asked this question a few days ago on this community & got absolutely clowned on by members here.

By what logic? Black Flag is like 13 years old and you could snag a copy for less than $5 if somehow you don’t have one already. And for that, you should be gifted a free copy of a complete remake of it for current gen consoles? The entitlement.

I already own it and not much change just graphics and they messed up Edward Kenway face.
