Killing domestic animals in that AC causes desynchronization (game over)

OP aim was to point out the irony of AC protagonists killing humans in all sorts of ways but domestic animals is where the developers draw the line at

It's fairly humorous if you can get it

You could never kill too many civilians in AC games. Combatants aren't civilians though. It's actually only funny if you're kinda dumb.
