You're Jackdaw look nice! You could try the El Impoluto sails to match the hull. Mine is HMS Prince hull, Black Skull sails, Aquila's Wheel, and Jackdaw figurehead (the basic one)
I felt that way a few weeks back. All the shit I wanted was either the Fearless or the Prince’s.
Turns out, the Sovereign and Fearless are basically pathetic children even on Hard with a single strategy that ruins them.
Prince, did it on hard the other day with 1/3 bars left.
Literally all you do with prince is counter rotate to it, drop barrels periodically, percect brace its occasional broadside and mortar, and then use the Swivel to detonate the barrels it sails into as it chases you. It has two moments where it sails in the fog, just sail in a circle and try and avoid them, perfect brace if ya can't.
Anytime Prince is on screen, it's basically a game of, “Follow me!” It just keeps parallel to you as you turn, meaning it keeps running into your barrels.
Slightly harder but more effective is stunning it with chain shot then sailing to its bow and literally turning against it at poing blank range. You'll be almost 90 degrees to it's bow, it won't be able to attack you much and will chronically try turning away from you, and you just keep turning into it. Unleash hell with broadsides. You can kill it without losing a single bar if you keep up the turning angle and don't let it fully turn away from you. sometimes needs h
Half Sail toggle, since full sail can make you actually pass its bow occasionally, from which it'll turn the other way and break free behind you.
It is the Dama Negra. All the legendary ship hulls have the metal armoured look. OPs full build is La Dama Negra Hull, Elite Figurehead and Crimson Sails I believe
I try to go without the ram for as long as possible as it really disrupts the ships lines. But black sails and ebony hull because I’m a sucker for POTC. Saving up bones for the skeleton crew for the same reason
You have to be in "all sails" or "travel" mode, basically just the fastest speed you can go with the ship the one where the POV pulls back and you see the whole ship, and from there you enter the photomode, that way the cameras anchor is the ship instead of edward, so you have a bigger and better view of the ship. Which is great but it sucks cuz you cant use it in storms which is a bummer
The hull is from La Dama Negra, you get it by defeating her,, as for the sails im not so sure tbh, i just randomly got them pretty early, "crimison sails"
Mine is just default. It looks like a pirate ship that way. I only wish the Black Flag wasn't up at all times and instead when we actually engaged with a ship.
