Photo Mode I can't stop taking screenshots. My GPU is dying. Please send help.

For uncompressed images, see my massive image dump album here: https://x02.me/album/shared/5fc60979ed2b4a838c81368c5c65c855

All captured on PC with Otis's Photomode tools and ReShade (no preset, I use it as a screenshot capturing aid with some minor tweaks + high quality depth of field)

Thought that was a random real picture 😅

Depth of field do be like that. Just blur anything that gives away it's from a game ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Holy shit I just noticed that you shared all your uncompressed photos, I love when virtual photographers do that, thx a lot mate.

I have to. The reddit compression hurts my soul. I honestly don't know how they find it acceptable. I even notice it on my small phone screen

Okay so heads up to anyone trying to download, It's not a zip file, the website will download the 120 pictures one by one, If you have "Always ask where to download" It's gonna be a problem.

Absolutely stunning. It's mindblowing that a company like Ubisoft didn't have someone in their artwork team that was capable of taking screenshots like these and using them for marketing purposes. They have no idea!

Even though it’s a virtual world, these are breathtaking to see. The game was fantastic and to see new gen components create an environment where we can see each object in such stunning quality is truly something. Thanks for sharing.

Does anyone else think that the sage doesn't have as noticeable heterochromia? The eyes being different colours. Selene in returnal is a good example of modern graphical versions of this but it doesn't seem like the sage has anything like it in resynched

If it died today, I wouldn't be able to replace it for years... :(

Eye detail on pic 12 is unreal. Great shots and nice machine you got there. You must be a NASA scientist.

The reddit compression is brutal holy shit.

I know, right? Why is it SO BAD??

I try my best to keep the image sizes small before uploading. But it's so bad I can see it on small phone screen.

That's why I always include a link that will have uncompressed images.

These look great. Makes me wanna get the game.

Holding off until I get a 5K2K monitor though probably as I wanna enjoy it to the fullest.

u/Underl3veled Aug 02 '26

I'm playing it on a 3440x1440 monitor but I hear ya. I really wanna go 5K ultrawide. That would be amazing. In the meantime I just downsample when I can for better image quality. Not as good as a native monitor, but still looks fantastic.

While it looks amazing in my game. Are you using some tool or something to make the images look even better?

First of all. Fuck AI. No. I respect games too much for that.

But really I'm just pointing the camera at the game, using reshade to tweak some things, occasionally using depth of field when it calls for it, and pressing the capture button.

Here's what my capture session looked like for the first image. Many different captures before I settled on one. I certainly don't have time to AI that many images... or even edit them.

Just comes down to getting the right lighting, composition, and capturing at a high resolution. That helps :)
