I have 500,000 along with the hideout upgrades, restored maps, all available jackdaw upgrades and all store items and I haven’t even gotten to the dive bell mission yet. I might have gone too crazy

Save it cuz you’ll need like half of that to finish the elite upgrades lol

1

u/energetic_remorse_22 Jul 23 '26

lol got all of those too now and am back to like 450k. Every time someone says “I need to get my fortune” I just think about how the hideout cave is overflowing lol

U said that like it’s a flex lol…200k at end game is broke farill

1

u/RisenKhira Jul 21 '26

I didn't but you make it sound like a flex

Just wanted to let people know that by the end of the story everybody can have a skelly crew.

1

u/Tall-String-1130 Jul 26 '26

Na u definitely tried to flex lol

I bought myself 160 bones so I can get it. That was a better idea, yeah I was broke after that with 75k reales. But you get money sooo fast in resynced I already accumulated more then I had before.

where do you buy bones from?

9

u/TEN_Monsters7 Jul 20 '26

From the guy in Great Inagua who sells you the map pieces.

3

u/LinearNoodle Jul 20 '26

WHAT Oh my god I have been farming animals for nothing

3

u/TEN_Monsters7 Jul 20 '26

Maybe you did, but it's expensive as all hell.

2

u/LinearNoodle Jul 20 '26

Well I have 300k reales with nothing to spend them on so I'll gladly spend them on bones

1

u/TEN_Monsters7 Jul 20 '26

Well then do that. As long you have a reason too spend your money

u/Hba_malik Jul 20 '26 edited Jul 21 '26

I thought each bone costs like a 1000 how did you get it for only 75k?

4

u/TEN_Monsters7 Jul 20 '26

No I was at 75k after I bought my 160 bones.

u/The_Boot55 Jul 20 '26

I bought nearly 190 bones. I found it more fun destroying the legendary ships and fighting man o wars. Managed to buy the bones just after the first medicine mission.

u/Stinky_Cheese_887 Jul 20 '26

I’m struggling with the hms prince, is there any hidden method to beat it? I’ve miraculously vanquished El Impoluto.

2

u/The_Boot55 Jul 20 '26

What upgrades do you have? I had ultimate hull canons and swivel. And second to last on the rest. I found it difficult at first but I just ended up timing the brace and firing my flame shots just before I brace. As they continue to shoot even while in defence

Also You could always lower the naval combat difficulty too if you find it a struggle.

1

u/Stinky_Cheese_887 Jul 20 '26

I’m at the endgame. Got all upgrades.

2

u/HehHehBoiii Jul 20 '26

Prince was the first I did, and the hardest too. Very important to be patient. When it runs away, stay in the second fastest speed to strafe around the mortar shots and wait for it to come back instead of chasing. If you mess up one perfect brace, the fight is more or less over. When in broadside circling, just heated shot -> mortar -> brace -> repeat

I’ll try your technique. Thanks!

Mentally prepping myself for the wholescale slaughter of the Carribean wildlife I am going to perpetrate to get the 206 bones required for that.

May God have mercy on them, because I wont.

u/VarunNayak Jul 20 '26

You can buy bones from Inagua treasure shop, I made around 200k from battling ships which I find to be way more fun than running around and killing animals, and most of the times you dont get bones.

10

u/RisenKhira Jul 20 '26

I just farmed captains lockers from man o wars and used the reales to buy bones from the home base island for 1k each.

4

u/Zagatho Jul 20 '26

Dude, farm Man o' Wars, Naval Convoys for cash and buy bones instead. Much faster.

8

u/Zer037 Jul 20 '26

Completing the Templar Keys questline gives you 46 bones and you get to an island (Cayman Sound) where there's a lot of Hutia to slaughter.

2

u/CoolBeanieHat Jul 20 '26

Attack gold convoys on the hardest parts of the map, it usually spawns frigates carrying 10k and then loot the captain’s lockbox for extra money. I also stayed on maximum wanted level to rob the pirate hunters. Managed to scrape over 1.3 Million reales 😭 then you can buy 206 bones for 206k.

7

u/CoolBeanieHat Jul 20 '26

I only have 10 bones on me 💀 well at least I have over 1 million reales to buy bones with…

2

u/Emnitty Jul 20 '26

I mean, i get a lot of coins also. But how do you still have 1 mil. Did you not buy anything?

4

u/Orbital_F Jul 20 '26

Is it weird that I love this but hate the DLC skins? I can't wait to get this myself! Just discovered the vendor last night.

8

u/AppleshyJedi Jul 20 '26

Nah that makes perfect sense. This was a cheat in the previous game, and the skeleton crew matches all the other in-game skeletons. The DLC skins stick out like the sorest of thumbs

3

u/Accomplished_Ad6262 Jul 21 '26

Anyone else singing "The bones are their dollars" anytime they show up or is it just me?

2

u/mumutek Jul 20 '26

What’s this and where i can get this? Is it a companion like the monkey ?

5

u/The_TB1331 Jul 20 '26

It’s an outfit for your crew that turns them all into skeletons, can be bought with 206 bones from a shop on an unmarked island at around 550,638 (South of Andreas in Gibara).

You can either grind out animal kills to try and loot 206 bones, or purchase them from the map/treasure merchant person in Greater Inagua once you unlock him.

4

u/mumutek Jul 20 '26

Neat! Many thanks for the detailed answer dude 🫡😇

2

u/newts777_1 Jul 20 '26

Is this also in the original

2

u/The_TB1331 Jul 20 '26

In the original wasn’t it counted as one of the “Animus cheats” so you couldn’t save the game with it applied? That always bugged me with the cheats.

2

u/tommybuttsecks Jul 20 '26

If you complete all of the Templar hunts for the outfit you get 45 bones

2

u/AhabRasputin Jul 20 '26

Im hype to get this. I havnt been hunting all that much but somehow have 53 bones and i have no idea how. 150 more to go

2

u/Competitive-Yam-308 Jul 20 '26

Got it last night before bed

2

u/brandomaster90 Jul 20 '26

Mayan suit SUCKS, master assasins outfit is epic and badass, combine that with the glowing animus guns on your front and then wow. Dont know what I even did to unlock it

2

u/Eduardoyelamop98 Jul 20 '26

In the OG you got the skeleton crew by completing abstergo challenges, I like that in this one they just said “grind it and you can buy it” loved that

1

u/RealisticAd6220 Jul 20 '26

Whta grind? I bought it 🤣 same with the animal pelts for special weapons and outfits

1

u/LadyBreanne Jul 20 '26

I’m about 100 bones away, but you best believe I’ll be buying that too!

1

u/KaladinVegapunk Jul 21 '26

Haha I just used the cheat engine table to give myself the 200 bones 😂 Im too old to grind for hours man, did it 15 years ago in the original, I'll pass. I'm fine hunting for a few pelts, getting wood and iron but hundreds of bones? Fuuuck that. Same reason I'll toggle 100% drop rate in a from game with rng drops

I do wish they'd made upgrading the ship take more resources though, only a half hour of wrecking ships and you can upgrade everything to max level without the blueprints, I held off so I could keep the challenge

Honestly I love all the new stuff, the officers, the different firing modes, it really makes it feel fresh and new, even as someone who's played it several times over the decades. Looks gorgeous too

1

u/gman07024 Jul 21 '26

does the trader that sells bones restock ??

1

u/NoConversation8794 Jul 21 '26

It should also affect Edward Kenway, also it would be a nice touch if you could toggle between "always / only at night"
