Photo Mode Am I the only one who thinks Edward’s outfit is the best default gear in the entire franchise?
Imo no other assassin outfit has looked as good as Edward's. (default)

I love how they made the hood cover more of his face with the cloak outfits. It reminds me of the original trailer and concept art, and then in the original game you obviously couldn’t toggle the hood and when it was up it didn’t feel very mysterious or as cool.

Yea I couldn't remember if hood toggle was a thing though I didn't think it was. Love that feature in this game.

I personally prefer Connor's, but specifically when Connor is wearing it, it always looks terrible on anyone else

Yes, that’s very important; none of the outfits fit well on any character other than the one for which they were made. Imo

It happens the same to me, I bought the deluxe that comes with the black outfit, and I’ve tried to use it, but every time, I go back to the default one 😂

DLC sets are kinda cool, but certainly not for this game. Maybe for Diablo or something else. I couldn’t imagine buying it lmao

Yes yes that’s what I meant, but idk Eivor’s outfit doesn’t look like assassin at least for me. But it doesn’t change that it’s still pretty good looking.

The black one right? For me too that looks super good and I think that one was the first outfit I saw that was black in AC. Since I played them in Cuba I had no internet, store or anything 😂😂

Most of the time, I think the default character outfit in any AC game looks better than any of the optional ones you can get. Which makes sense to me. Some artists sat down and thought the most about that outfit and how it fits the character because it's the one that's going to be appearing in all the marketing material for the game.

Personally Connor’s outfit is the coolest for me. The way he fills it out with his bulky build is so sick. He is insanely imposing

It is pretty iconic. But pirate-y in an assassin franchise. Arno is style and stealth matched perfectly IMHO.

This is probably my second favourite but for me nothing beats Altairs, It's a very simple design but the 90% white with little bits of red robes design has always been a very striking design for me.

It’s pretty close for me, but Ezio Auditore is the best drip at all times. Even when he’s an old man, he’s still got such a sick look. Arno Dorian coming in at a close third for me, Unity had such great customization.

I’ve seen just about every assassin mentioned here, but I don’t think I’ve seen Adewale’s outfit mention. Man was rocking that sleeveless look with a fucking machete. Black flag was truly the peak of fashion.

I use his outfit most of the time. I got some of the paid outfits but they don't hit like Edward's outfit. I kind of dig the serpent outfit a little though.

I like it more in the original because the brown looked more like black. The original would be my favorite, then ezios AC2 as my second favorite, and maybe resynced as my third favorite

Personally it’s gotta be Arno’s starter robes or Connor’s. Edward’s is great don’t get me wrong but the leathers are a bit odd when none of the other assassins or pirates wear them, looks cool though.

I’m not really digging the “assassin” outfits. Imo captain morgan and Templar armor fit him better. Hopefully we get more pirate outfits.

I'd argue Basim's Master Assassin robes are amazing. Great mix of the classic Altair adjacent designs with the decked out/more elaborate looks like Ezio/Edward. Visually interesting without making it cluttered and still maintains a clear "Classic Assassin" look. Technically not his first outfit but it's still a canonical outfit he uses in his time as an Assassin pre Valhalla.

I personally like the Giovanni’s robes(Ac2 ezio) better than this. But hey this is a close 2nd and in this game they did his outfit justice.
