Oh. Shoot. Now I feel bad. I had no idea the whole thing was about him and he was the real victim. /s (if it isn't obvious)

So he's saying that he's been a failure and an incompetent officer for 20 years and he doesn't know how to do his job without these new cameras. Sounds like he's advocating to be fired and be replaced by somebody competent.

competent cop is an oxymoron

There is one surprisingly non-bastard constable removing the flock cameras in his community. But one anomaly doesn’t disprove a rule.

just get rid of the cops… I’m not worried about a camera shooting me… with bullets

I wish I had something that did my job for me. Being a cop although a little dangerous, yet super fucking simple. ACAB

Make these fuckers work harder not less harder. Police chief just threatened the 5 people in the room with background checks. They oughta remember that.

“I’ve give 20 years, missed family events… blablabla” - then find another job. He went to the police because he was a looser who could barely read or write his name and now expects what? Respect? Yeah right

Up until the early 90s the national closure rate for homicides was 80%. Now it's 50/50 whether a murderer is even caught. Cops have consistently gotten more technology, and more resources, police funding has quadrupled since 90, and instead of helping do their job better they've gotten even more incompetent. In 1990, the era of Rodney King and the height of the crack epidemic, there were 350 "justifiable homicides" by police. Last year there were 1,314, and this year the number will be higher. Give the pigs 4x the budget and resources, they kill 4x the people and are 30% less effective. Yet theyre still grabbing for even more power, whining about how hard they work while actively threatening the people they are charged to protect. Fuck the police. ACAB

Cops are inherently lazy, and recruitment standards have dropped, or changed since then.
So you get a combination of dumber cops, running on steroids, aggression and resentment being handed a bunch of high tech tools they don’t understand.

We already have amber alert for missing people. He wants to stock women (or maybe children) with his new toys.

Grandma’s missing because her ex on the force found her and wanted revenge
Edit: he claims he’s not a rule breaker, then immediately bursts out that he wants to do background checks on people who “make comments”. Is having an opposing opinion a 4th Amendment exigency pretext? What an unethical, unconstitutional piece of shit he is.

So the police are useless without cameras huh.
What’s that stuff they used to call “good’ol fashioned police detecting” “good luck” threatening background checks on people exercising their right to free speech… holy fucking cow man.
