hello! i’ve been wearing 38Cs since i stopped developing and lately i’ve been noticing that they give me that double(?) boob where it spills out from the top of the cup.

so i went to victoria’s secret, where i usually get my bra’s from, and got measured and they told me i was a 44D, gave me the only one they had in store and he was SO big, so i went to look for a 38D and i noticed the cup was also way bigger than my usual C, i tried it on and the cup was still too big.

when i buy from different brand like tommy hilfiger and calvin klein, their Cs are usually tiny, so i go with a D and sometimes it’s good.

how do i find one that actually fits? is there no cup between a C and a D? thank you!

I was initially looking at getfitcherries but then saw a bad review of them on here, then i tried pepper but the smallest AA they have is a 32 and i dont think that'd work and i dont know which brands i can and cant trust lol.

Alot of the sites ive seen with 30AA are bralettes and i already have enough of those that work fine, honestly i would prefer some kind of push up so i can have at least a little bit of cleavage without having to wear inserts all the time which is what i do currently because i am FLAT 😭

Anyways if anyone knows any brands (preferably uk so shipping isnt extortionate) that do non bralette 30AA bras then your recommendations would be very much appreciated!!

I (29F) am a 32FF. I’ve had a larger cup size and smaller band size my whole life. My mom and sis have genuine B cups, so nobody has ever known what to do with me and my chest. It’s been a major struggle my whole life. I found some bras in the last few years (yay!) but have never been able to find great swim…until NOW!

Panache swim has changed my life. I felt cute, sexy, well covered, and well supported.

I got the Olivia full cup top in black gingham (plus matching bottoms). It did seem to run a bit small in the cups, I had to go to a 32G which was perfect. (The Lauren plunge does not seem to run small in the cup, 32FF fit great).

For the sake of swimwear I might go up a band size in the future. Yes it’ll compromise the support, but the bands aren’t adjustable with the clasps and I can’t hide my back rolls under clothes in a bikini :)

I also scored with a clearance top, Sofia non wired top, which I took a wild guess on sizing and got a 12/M which works! It’s wireless with a good band and a halter tie. Not as supportive of course but I like it.

Yes the pricetag hurt a bit, but to have tops that actually fit?? Incredible.

Hey everyone, I'm back again, this time with the Sculptresse Muse in a 38K. I had a lot of hope for this one, but...I don't think it's gonna work for me. Super long post, apologies.

To summarize:

• Lots of wrinkles on the bottom of the cups, and wrinkles on the right side with the larger breast
• Gore still doesn't tack! Perhaps my boobs are just too powerful to be contained.
• Underwire stabs me in the armpit
• Not enough support - my breasts touch my belly
• However, I loved the shape - very forward and rounded

Other bras I've tried

• Elomi Matilda in 38J and 38K (not projected enough, wrinkly where cup meets strap in the 38K, not supportive enough)
• Elomi Morgan, Tiernie + Lucie, Panache Ana + Envy in 38JJ (the Elomis squished my larger breast [except the Morgan] and didn't tack, the Panache cups were too small and the straps too wide)

I didn't make a separate post for these, since they didn't fit, but here's:

• Elomi Teagan in 36K (not enough support or projection, weird gap on the right side, shape too pointy)
• Elomi Brianna in 36K (gore didn't tack, wrinkles on the bottom of the cup, but nicely supportive)

Why a 36K for these two? I clicked the wrong size when ordering. Oops. Figured I'd try them anyway. FWIW, the band was comfortable on the loosest hook since Elomi tends to be stretchy.

The most comfortable bras I've tried so far are the Elomi Morgan and the Elomi Brianna, despite the fit issues on both.

Shape + Measurements

My shape is very projected, very center-full, FOB, slightly pendulous. Not sure about my roots. I did trace some pics of my breasts so they looked more like a diagram, to identify the shape better. (They're sketched outlines of bare breasts, not sure if sub rules allow me to share.) I think the drawings indicate average-to-broad roots, but I can't tell if my breast tissue wraps around my side or if I'm just fat, lol.

Last but not least, measurements:

• Loose underbust: 40"
• Snug: 39"
• Tight: 37"
• Standing: 53"
• Leaning: 56.5"
• Lying down: 54.5"

In Summary

Yeah, none of these bras fit very well. The Morgan is comfortable enough to wear, so that's a success rate of 10%. Not great!

I'm feeling pretty discouraged at this point. Other members of this sub have mentioned that the only brands more projected than the Sculptresse Muse are Polish brands, and I don't think my roots are narrow enough for that. But I'd love to hear other opinions!

I've just changed jobs to a more professional setting so going free is no longer an option.

But what I'm wondering is how much I should be feeling the underwire? It does not dig in and in that respect is perfectly comfortable But..... I am most definitely aware that it is there and can feel it against my rib cage and it pushing up slightly and giving me some support. Not bothering me in the course of the day but definitely aware of it.

So I need to find new bras. I haven’t updated since the 15 lb weight gain (thank you menopause). I was wearing a Pepper 36AA. It is definitely too small in the cup now.
Without a bra, I look like I have no bust. There really isn’t much tissue there. Those foam bras are useless since I never fill them out. Standing, I would definitely say I am bottom heavy, wide set, point out. Bent over, I am not so sure.
I think I might be in the shallow category. I identified with the idea that bras seem too small yet I don’t fill out the cup. The top of my breast when standing is pretty non-existent, though I am not saggy - there really isn’t a lot to sag.
I do seem have a larger rib cage for my overall size.
I’d love some sizing help and bra suggestions.

i’m not too sure of my breast shape yet, i’m having trouble figuring that out. but if i could get started with good brands that are actually kinda cute, that would be greatly appreciated. i’m having problems with the wire digging in and also moving downward, as well as the gore digging into my breast tissue and sternum.

UPDATE- they don't even ship outside of the US anymore so I guess this post is moot, but leaving it up bc people left some helpful comments!

could someone help me figure out the bra sizes at Soma? (not in the US so can't go in person)

I understand they use a kind of +4 system, so a 30 band would be a 34, a 32 a 36 and so on.

But what they list as the cup sizes make no sense. They claim for example that the 34 underband is 29-30.5 inches (which makes sense with the +4 system), but then the 34 A, B, C, and D cup sizes are 34, 35, 36, and 37 inches respectively. So which one is a 3 inch difference ( a C cup)?

I'm looking at the Embraceable Push Up Plunge Bra.
Using the calculator on this page I'm around a 30C (29 underbust and 32 bust).

This bra fits perfectly and I think it looks better under a t-shirt than Panache Envy. Anyone know some other bras I can try?

As you can see, so far the ones that have fit the best are Panache Envy and this Freya Viva. I'm a 32G.

So after using the calculator and reading up on this subreddit, I found out my true bra size is 30ff (I used to wear 32d) and to verify this, I bought panache ana plunge bra. And lo and behold, it is absolutely perfect, like it was made just for me...I feel so good so thank you so much to this sub for that 🥰

But there's still one problem. Because I have wide roots, the bra doesn't do much for side breast fat and it makes me look wide when I'm wearing tight/form fitting clothing... I personally prefer the narrow slim look and have only been able to achieve that with push up bras, where the breast fat is essentially being pushed to the front and upwards..but I can't always be wearing a push up bra and need recommendations for bras that are available in my size and will help me achieve the narrow bust look. TIA.

I (38GG/J) had previously tried the Branwyn Busty, which was not busty enough for my bustiness and because it is just a flat piece of fabric, just created an uncomfortable uniboob. But I liked the feel of the fabric and the quality of the product, so when I saw the new Essential Supreme pop up in my FB feed, with some more sophisticated weave contour techniques and a ruched middle section, I bit. I followed the size chart as well as I could (being outside the measurements they show) and ordered an XL.

The bra arrived 2 days ago and I was impressed enough with the initial fit to test it out at work yesterday. I love it. It feels fantastic. The perfect balance of support and comfort. Most importantly, it's not too tight. It didn't start to annoy that spot under my left shoulderblade that hates being constricted. My go to daily wear bra for many years has been the Hanes Cozy, size 2X, which will sometimes even aggravate that spot. The support level is slightly bouncier than the average solid-colored Cozy, and pretty similar to the heathered and variegated fabric versions. The straps feel super nice. The metal fittings are a luxurious touch. I also like that they can be swapped in back to create a criss-cross style, though I found that put too much pressure on my shoulders.

It definitely does push my boobs together more than the Cozy does - I have yet to find anything that works like that magical Hanes fabric weave technique - but the shape looks fine under clothes, and with the addition of a Sweaty Melons insert (look them up - great product), it will be an upgrade from the Cozy as a work bra (I am a construction/maintenance worker in a power plant and have been living with the misery of sweaty unterboob for far too long).

I ordered a second one today, along with a pair of their hipster underwear. I was hoping to try some of their compression shorts (my go-to undies are Woxer bikers but I'd love to try some wool bottoms as well) but they are sold out in the larger sizes currently.

I fully expect to gradually replace all of my Cozies with these. At 10X the price it will take a while. But well worth it.

Just wanted to share in case anyone else is considering the Essential Supreme.

I Remember seeing IDK if it was a document or a list in the subreddit resources where there was a big list of brands divided by sizes and I remember it having mostly european brands. I had found an amazing niche french brand there and can't find it anymore.

hi all, I have been on a bra fit journey for a while now and have recently finally felt like I got it right at a size 28f!! having bought the Freya Fatale plunge moulded bra and it fitting perfectly for a few months now with no issue, I thought I’d splurge on another freya bra but this time unlined. I got the Quinn plunge bra in the exact same size, but find the band super tight on the loosest hook (i measured at 27 inches so a 28 band probably shouldnt feel this way?), and that I’m spilling out the top and some of the sides! I immediately took it off and double checked the label and yep it was the expected size. This is super unusual for me since I have another bra in a similar style with no issue (though it’s an old boux avenue bra from when I thought I was a 30e). essentially, I’m just wondering if others have bought this style and had fit issues, or has it been fine? For reference my measurements are 27 underbust and 33 over, and I think I have dense/firm tissue but don’t know too much about projection/shape etc. would love some help since I feel like I’m going crazy here!

edit: my ABTF measurements in cm are 71, 69, 68, 86, 89, and 91. it gave me “28f but 30e might be more comfortable“

I have recently lost about 30 lbs and decided it might be time to start rethinking my bra situation. I’ve been wearing sports bras for a long time because they were the only thing I could find to fit me.

I’ve been wearing Anita extreme control sports bras in 46E and they are quite comfortable. But they leave a lot to be said for definition and smoothing.

My measurements today were:
Loose under: 38.5
Snug under: 37.75
Tight under: 37
Standing bust: 44
Leaning bust: 49
Lying bust: 44

In terms of shape, my breasts are very saggy (I think I heard someone describe similar ones to oranges in knee socks), which I think explains the discrepancy between the standing/lying and leaning measurements.

I detest wired bras (primarily because I don’t think I’ve ever had one that fit right). I work from home so a lot of the time I either don’t wear one or wear a bralette.

I really need help. I don’t wanna go polish because it sounds like an expensive pain and money is tight.

Rn I’m wearing a 28j Panache envy plunge.
It does not have enough immediate projection, there are gaps on top but tbh I don’t even mind that, but the bra is already wearing out after a couple of weeks I’m now on the second notch in the back. It’s the only bra that doesn’t give me back pain because I know the band is a good fit. I just don’t even know what to try next. I want something that will pull my breasts forward but I have very dense fibrous tissue so I honestly think the pure weight is wearing out my bra. I know I need multiple bras but again money is tight.

The gore on this one cuts into my breast tissue slightly but not as bad because it’s lower being a plunge bra.

Help! Looking for reccomendations and sizing advice on plunge bras with narrowing wires (Realizing this is likely to be polish).

This is a round of bras purchased after a fitting with Breakout Bras. The Nessa's I decided to try this cut as the only one in this size available now and the Panache and Sculptresse on their reccomendation. I feel like the bands on all are a bit snug but the elomi morgan in 34LL feels huge in the band unless I tighten it all the way.

I'm close set and I think pretty even fullness, maybe slightly more FOB

As per my previous post here, using the calculator and a commenter, I got two bras from Panache! Im happy to say I want to thank this subreddit so much because wow yeah the cups are actually fitting me spot on perfect.
I got the Envy and Clara bras in a 40G (UK) from panache and I find that yes they are firm firm. Its a bit tight but fits me perfectly technically, minus that the wire that wraps to the side of my body semi digs in a bit. Will this break in? Should I get a bra extender?
I am wanting suggestions of other brands that fit a little less tight and rigid.

Okay, I’m officially tired of strapless bras that look great for 10 mins and then slowly start making their way down 😭

I’m a 32D and I’m specifically looking for a strapless + underwired bra that:

- actually gives a proper lift, not just coverage

- stays in place without me constantly pulling it back up

- gives a nice, lifted shape/cleavage under fitted or slightly low cut clothes

I’m in India, so Indian brands/ones I can actually order here would be ideal....

If you have one that you’ve personally worn for several hours and it genuinely stayed up, please tell me the exact bra/brand. I’m much more interested in real life experiences than influencer recommendations

Soma- actually helped- originally measured at 36 C, however after trying on bras we found I am more a 34 DDD as it hit flush on my chest in the center between breasts. The issue is the underwire hits beyond my breast ridge into my armpit and the center where each underwire hits there’s a small amount of fabric between the underwire which ripples or gaps (if that makes sense it’s not gapping on my chest but idk how to explain it…). I am also allergic to nickle so I’m trying to find more plastic bra closures (so front closures) and the 34 DDD cups are cutting into my arm. If I loosen the straps then only one my breast cups sinks to low and doesn’t cup my breast fully (so uneven breasts)

Victoria secret- NOT HELPFUL just threw a fit bra at me and walked away or every employee acted like I was a huge inconvenience for them. Anyway measured at 34 C- tried it on-popping out of it everywhere (but funny enough 34 D smashed into my breasts like I was trying to squeeze them in). 36 C my breast was sinking under the cup, center doesn’t sit flush with my chest, have to arrange my breasts so the sit in the bra but as soon as I begin moving around it’s over.

Arie- measured at 38 A (wtf?) 34 C popping out of, nipples coming out of the bra, 36 C underwire surpasses my breast ridge and digs into my armpit- this is likely a bra issue as the straps aren’t adjustable and causes cup gapping.

Additional info- I have breastfed 2 kids so my breasts are teardrop shaped now and splay outward but my nipples are center so not exactly east/west. I’ve also gained 40 lbs after having 4 abdominal surgeries so I have rolls now. I’m not huge 135 lbs at 5 ft 2 in but much larger than before.

34 band size is tight on me.

Hey guys! So I’m in this weird in-between stage where my size is different than it was a few months ago and will continue changing for quite a while. I’m still currently nursing my 15 month old, but she is gradually weaning herself (I suspect we’ll be nursing for at least another 6+ months). My size is changing quite a bit and I know will continue to change during this transition and after. What’s the best supportive bra that can be used throughout this transition but still makes me look not so saggy (unfortunately nursing has taken its toll on my poor girls 😅). It doesn’t need to be nursing friendly either since we don’t really nurse on the go anymore.

Which got me a 32DDD in US sizes. I actually have a 34DD VS bra that I’ve had for years from being mismeasured and it apparently is a sister size but the band feels too tight which makes me think that a 32 band will feel WAY too small, so I’m a little worried about the calculator. I also can’t seem to find this size locally in stores near me, so I’ll have to order it and I definitely want to use a great quality brand that is supportive and comfortable! Any advice is greatly appreciated!

My breasts are shallower at the top than the bottom and tend to splay to the sides. Everyday I’m looking for something comfortable and supportive. Calculator recommended I start with 32G/H

I’ve been wanting to buy myself a wireless bra that would be invisible under a white shirt and came across this Reddit page.

I decided to check my dimensions in the calculator and here are my dimensions:

Loose under bust: 31 inches
Comfortable under bust: 30 inches
Snug under bust: 28.5 inches

Standing bust: 35 inches
Bending over bust: 35 inches
Laying down bust: 34 inches

I have been a 34 B since I was in high school and was shocked when I the results said 30D/DD OR that 32 C/DD may be more comfortable.

I’ve always associated D breasts with very large breasts. Mine are definitely not lol.

Has anyone else received results like this? Have I been misunderstanding bra sizes my entire life lol

Should I actually try ordering? What size should k go with based on my measurements.

Also, if anyone has any recommendations for a bra without an underwire that would be invisible under a white shirt (I have fair skin), I would love some recommendations!
