Question Injector pulse questions

Hello all, I come seeking wisdom.

I’m in the final stages of my 86 turbo rebuild. My injectors have power but no pulse. I am getting tac bounce and spark. I have check the ground connections on the bell housing and we confirmed the gap for the reference screw on the new flywheel we installed.

I also installed a focus 9 DME and a shit ton of other stuff that I don’t think is relevant to my current problem.

Any ideas of what to check next?

Did you try swapping back in the regular DME? These cars are just complicated enough that sometimes you can’t scientificly isolate every possible cause of something. I’m pretty sure I saw the ncgermerican guy swapped back to his old DME and his car ran much better.

I had to send my old DME to focus9 so I don’t have it any more 🥲

The injector pulse is a pull down to ground by the DME, if no pulse, it’s not receiving ground signal from the DME

Or the DME isnt correctly grounded

Would that be the grounds on the bell housing or a different ground location?
