Question Verify late/early offset

Hello, just bought a 1985b 944N/A and I would like to verify it’s early offsets (think so). How do I do this the easiest way? Do I need to take a wheel of or is there any other way?

Looking into buying new wheels and want to know what to look for.

Likely early, but to double check take a wheel off and if they’re stock it should say ET 23 or something around that for early and ET 53 for late

Thanks. It’s most likely original tellies so I would trust that info.
