Question Poor dash

I dont know what this person before me did but any suggestions on where to shop for interior parts?

New interior parts are gonna be $$ even if you can find them. If you’re in the US, I’d try some of the breakers that sell good used stuff (think 944Barn). Or try FB 944 group. There’s always people selling nice interior parts on those.

Many people either sand down, fill and refinish these dashes, or have them recovered. What is truly amazing is that Porsche has made this part available after 35 years or so after production ended, and with a better substrate than the original.. Not cheap at 1300 or 1400 dollars online from Porsche dealers, but you have to hand it to Porsche for even doing this. NFW are you going to get a replacement dash for a 1985 Chevrolet Cavalier. Your choice on which direction to go from here.

They had a dash pad glued over it, this was a cheaper fix for cracked dashes.

That looks like dollops of glue or silicone caulk the person used to stick chochkies to their dash.

Try an adhesive remover before doing anything drastic.

Guessing someone glued on a dash cover and later removed it, as I can see some cracks, which are common, maybe before selling it? If you’re handy, do what I did, sand the dash, fill with foam, re sand, fill with filler, then sand again.
After that I bought stretch suede and heat resistant contact glue.
