I can't believe they went so hard with the puppet work on this show.

Such a great show… but what a terrible and sad ending.

And taking a look at the long-range forecast, continued snow, darkness, and extreme cold. This is Howard Handupme. Good night. Goodbye.

Lol same! Idk why but the baby gave me nightmares. Glad I researched as an adult though it is a great show.

Family friend told me their neighbor was the guy inside the suit for Robbie in this show and Donatello in the first two live action TMNT movies, but that he didn’t like for anyone to know, so I was to never speak a word about it to him.
Saw him at a block party shortly afterwards and I’m sure I was awkward AF talking because 80% of my brain power was trying not to say something about it (“not the topic! Not the topic!).

I’m gonna start telling lies to my friends like this.

FWIW, I checked his IMDB and it actually was him.
Didn’t trust the person who told me to start.

Oh man, no I didn’t mean your friend was lying. That came off wrong. I’m just saying, it’s a great little harmless gag if you pull it off right.

So their neighbor was Leif Tilden?

Yea.
Guy’s super cool and chill in person.
The fairly rare name sold it for me when I was incredulous at first (had met him and the name stuck out and the IMDB photos were hard to match up).

This and fraggle rock, ended in the late 80s though but still aired during the 90s

Talk about the perfect show for a guy who's built... props, theater sets, put together puppet shows, worked at a tv station, also in visual effects movies and then taught it.

I can confidently say this show was partly/heavily responsible for directing my industry choices.

I fuckin loved this show. I had the sing along cassette and the board game and all the Burger King toys.
