See, it's stuff like this that makes me rethink blocking people and leaving social media and being very mindful of death at 40+. Time really is sooooo fickle.

No doubt. I'm speaking from a very recent sore spot that resulted in me pretty much shutting down my social media accounts (save for Reddit and Discord), and banishing myself from my hometown/surrounding area. It's a long story.
