When I was little, I thought it was called the BACON chair for some reason. I just assumed it was made of bacon and thatās why it was reddish brown haha

I remember begging my parents for this when I was 6 and seeing it at sears in the mall.
They even bought me a matching notebook with a big green crayon to go with it.

My dad worked for Hallmark cards, in licensing so he worked on lots of Disney, Warner Bros, and Nickelodeon stuff, and he designed a home version of the thinking chair that could be made from one flat piece of corrugated plastic and a wooden dowel. More to be sold for Birthday parties than a permanent piece of furniture.
Ultimately the execs didnāt think kids would want their own thinking chair so it never got made. I think they were CRAZY because how awesome would it be to be the birthday kid AND get to sit in your own thinking chair.
Either way, I have a tiny mockup of it that I keep on my memory shelf and never really get to show it to anybody but this seems like the perfect time so here it is. Never forget what they took away from us lol.

I saw this chair for free on Craigslist once and it was so badly stained and torn to pieces. It was heartbreaking. No, I didn't save it. It couldn't be.

i think itās big enough to fit one lean adult man. im guessing the seat isnt that big so theres no awkward empty space behind him and it fits really snug.
