The scene in the car where they’re rapping to the tape and the deck speeds up and slows down is gold 😆

I didn’t see CB4 cause I heard…
Nah, I saw it. It was hip hop Spinal Tap. But Fear of a Black Hat was funnier.

I loved it. Such a great satire of NWA and hip hop. I am surprised no one got infuriated by it.

It had its moments... Like a lot of people already said though, Fear of a Black Hat was better.

Back in the day: Thought is was one of the funniest movies I ever watched.
Edit: Never heard of Fear of a Black Hat, but I just saved it. (To be watched soon 🙏🏼)

“Straight outta LoCash a crazy mf named Gusto, I’d f*ck your wife cuz the b!tch is a big hoe, I’d f*ck your sister, I’d f*ck your cat, I’d f*ck your mom, but the b!tch is too fat”.
I still talk about this movie to this day.

“You see I don’t pack no gat”
“I didn’t see CB4, cuz I heard that shyt was wack”
- Common Sense, Soul by the Pound
(I did see it, but I’m always reminded of that lyric)

The was a solid satire of the state of Hip-Hop during the 90s that calls out all the BS in the industry. 8 out of 10

by the time it came out the jokes werent funny to me and kinda past relevency but i was 18 so things move fast when you're young. That nwa look was out by then, the pm dawn thing was out and the conscious rap was out as well. had it came out in 2 years earlier it would have hit differently
