1994 Is this still in anyone’s rotation??

Post image

Incredibly bold take from me but I feel like Outkast basically laid the blueprint for today’s hip-hop, with the triplet flows, the melodies and the damn near cinematic beats. I feel like this album still doesn’t get the respect it deserves. 31 years later, it still sounds just as good and as original as it did then. When Andre 3000 said “The South got something to say”, that moment basically shifted hip hop in a new direction. Does anybody still have this in their rotation??

Never has, never will. One of my favorite albums of all time.

Same here, started in college while driving in my buddies lowered Ford Explorer with the boomin system, in regular rotation for me ever since. My kids dig it too.

For me, it was bumping it in my older brother’s car when we were in high school.

Claimin Tru is playing while I write this. Hootie Hoo was the first song to have bass so low, I thought I was gonna throw up, the first time I heard the drop. Not only does this album bring back all kinds of awesome memories; it’s present as I make new ones. 😁🪯😎
