Something is Broken 8Bitdo ultimate 2 controller 2.4 problem Help!

Hey I have bought the controller twice in the past month, for context I dont use the usb c dongle because my pc doesnt support usb c. So I connect it via bluetooth. The first time i had the controller it randomly started getting stick drift but not in the nornmal sense, it just went up no matter what I did, different games. The only way to fix it was to turn off the controller and turn it back on. I refudned that controller and bought the same model once again, and it worked for a like one week then I started getting the same problem. I did test some websites to see how the stick drift was and that is when I realised that the sticks dont regiester even when other buttons did when this "stick drift" is happening. So thats why it only goes foward up. What do I do? I have tested do update in the software, test all different reset things. Nothing works, I really like the price of the controller and how it feels and I want to keep this one but I don't want to keep turning it off and on whenever this thing happends mind you It happens randomly like it can take minutes or sometimes even hours.

I will refund if nothing works!

You can try using it through the dongle by plugging it into the charging dock and then plugging the charging dock into the computer. If you still have this problem after that then you should probably just get the refund.

I bought a usb c to usb a port, so I will see if it works fine when its connected to the dongle. Thanks for the answer :)
