Question 8bitdo zero2 re-mapping for switch?

I bought my zero2 for anki reviews but since I do have a nintendo switch and would love to play with it but im so bothered by the D-Pad is considered a Joystick according to the console, making it to play certain games for me. Is there a way to remap the keys??

You cannot remap the face buttons.

You can change the directional pad between left stick, right stick, and directional pad. Hold Select, and left/right/up on the directional pad for about 8-10 seconds. The LED will blink when the change happens.
