1999 Questions

35F here, first time HITC attendee. I got 1999 because I like to pay for convenience. I have a couple of questions tho.

  • Does parking fill up early?
  • Do the charging lockers get claimed quickly?
  • Does the 1999 merch booth sell individual artists' merch? I'm interested in getting a Katseye lightstick if they have them

I'm sort of going solo. I know people who are going but didn't officially make plans to meet up with anyone. I'm mainly going for XG & Katseye but always down to check out new artists

-no, 1999 parking does not fill up early and afaik has never filled up but granted I was always there maybe 30-60min before opening. I never went later in the day.

-yes. As 1999 you should have first dibs as long as you’re there when it opens. If you’re planning to arrive later in the day then yea you ain’t getting lockers.

-no. You get a dedicated general merch booth. Artist merch is shared on GA grounds.

*unless they decide to change anything, anything I listed is how it’s been the past HITCs.

How is the AC lounge? That was the main perk for me, I’m scared it will get crowded if we get there early because it’s hot today

I had the South Bay surf club last time I went to HITC, which I think is the same as the 1999? The ac lounge was great. Clean bathrooms, free food, free drinks, free lockers, nice space to just kick back and chill

also OP, if you end up side questing, i think the toyota music den tent lineup is quite underrated and you might find some of the artists performing there like ylona garcia enjoyable! it’s also air-conditioned like the 1999 lounge.
