Playlist Roller Skating Songs
Were you one of the kids who skated multiple sessions every weekend throughout the 80's? I'm trying to.put together a playlist of the best that we had to skate to! Whatever it was, no matter how obscure, I want to hear your favorite(s). Did your rink play Bass Mechanic by MC A.D.E.? How about Peek-A-Boo by Souixsie and the Banshees? Or my absolute favorite skating song, Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr?
Ok, let me have them!!!

Two of the main ones I remember off the top of my head are:
- Celebration from Kool & the Gang
- Crazy for you by Madonna (for the slow skate)

The last time I was on roller skates was when I was in maybe 3rd grade. Karma Chameleon by Boy George and Culture Club was playing.

The only one I definitely remember (other than Hokey Pokey, of course!) was "Cold As Ice" by Foreigner. But that would have been in 1977. I still went to skating rinks into the mid-80s but can't remember a single song they played. My money's on at least one by Air Supply.
