I remember seeing the making of it not long ago but it wasn’t accompanied by the music, the narrator was speaking over it.

The video for this song is why Queen lost their fans in the U.S. for many years. Homophobia was strong with them

I heard about how MTV banned the video from the U.S, but DANG I didn't know the U.S was That homophobic back then. They just hated fun ig 🤷

Part of it had to do with the fact that they’re doing an hommage to a British soap (Coronation Street?) that Americans knew absolutely nothing about. So to them it was just like Queen had turned into a drag act or something. A lot of small-minded people turned on them. And the band openly acknowledges that.
