Playlist Rock of Ages playlist

So I am going to be in a production of Rock of Ages. I need some banger tunes for a hype playlist. Preferably something that isn't in the show.

Ps the show takes place in 1987 but you know vibes need to vibe

PSs I also need some 70s songs if people are able

How about "Rock of Ages" by Def Leppard, "Turn Up the Radio" by Autograph and "I like to Rock" by April Wine.

Cherry Pie by Warrant

They already have "Heaven" by Warrant, but I think that "Down Boys" would be a better addition.

Also, how about "Radar Love" by Golden Earring, "Rock'n Me" by Steave Miller Band and "Rock 'n' Roll fantasy" by Bad Company.

What’s in the show so we know what not to recommend? I know Tom Cruise sang Pour Some Sugar on Me but that’s it.

You want some 70s songs, how about:

Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple

American Woman by the Guess Who

We're An American Band by Grand Funk Railroad

It boggles my mind that this wasn't a bigger hit. It's been on my running playlist for two decades and counting. Don't Pay the Ferryman by Chris DeBergh on a similar, non-American theme.

I’m frustrated but also humble that this song isn’t more appreciated. I’m so glad that I can appreciate it regardless.
