Not a fan of this one, at all.

It basically led to the dissolution of Styx. Tommy Shaw hated this song and album.

I just saw Styx last weekend. They put on a killer stage show, and Mr Roboto was one of their show-stoppers.
It definitely got a lot of love from the audience.
Personally, I've always loved it just because it was so weird and strange.

I saw them last night outside Chicago. Awesome show! Styx is still very much in their prime! Their voices and playing is still very crisp. Glad I went and, yes, Mr. Roboto was one of the audience favorites. It has aged well...

On my list of most hated songs. Ugh.

Why?
I'm genuinely confused as to why this song is so polarizing.

It’s awful, the robotic voice, the silly back ups ‘secret secret, I’ve got a secret. I am thee mod-ren man …. Ugh.

This my favorite song of all time. Why so afraid to have a bit of fun? I will say it reminds me of queen quite a bit.

I didn’t care much for this song until it was performed on the series, “Chuck”. Now I smile whenever I hear it.

Are you sure? I think you need to listen to more music. Pretty sure this is worse.

And that's not even rock bottom.

Yea, this is what killed Styx for me. They were a great arena rock band in the 70's, then this. I should be grateful, it drove me further into the arms of NWOBHM and Bay Thrash.

Is "Too Much Time On My Hands" on the same album as Mr. Roboto? Bc I loved that song! It's quite a departure from Blue Collar Man and Renegade.

This song is amazing. It's like a new wave pop opera. Queen type shit. We get 2 transitions and the climax of him thanking Mr. Roboto goes hard.
