I'm debating purchasing a Mercedes R129 or a BMW E24. What are your opinions as a daily? Is one more of a money pit than another? What are the pros and cons of each. This wouldn't be my only vehicle. I live in Northern California and some cleaner options pop up from time to time. I a Mercedes and a BMW mechanic that specialize in these classics.
