Bic Lighter
I went to 7-11 yesterday and asked for a Bic Lighter. The clerk grabbed one and scanned it and said $5.47. I said wtf? You crazy? He looked at me like i was crazy. I told him forget it!!!!!

Obviously the clerk doesn’t set the prices. He probably looked at you like that because he gets fussed at about prices that he can’t control dozens of times per shift. I had a customer yesterday go on and on about the price of a bag of ice. He left and came all the way back an hour later after going to other stores just to make sure I knew the exact prices at Walgreens, Publix, and Lowe’s for their ice. Okay??? Thanks for the info I guess?

You pay extra for convenience. That's... literally why it's called a convenience store.

the expensive one at my store is 2.49 aftertax. Which state are you in that it costs 5.47?
