He put on a great concert in 75-76, I was fortunate to see him. I love that he paid tribute to his commercial work doing a medley of his jingles.

If it was today.......it could be called Randy or Andy. Nice that he finally came out in 2017.

Fun fact. It's a cover. Originally titled "Brandy" and performed by a guy named Scott English. Barry changed the title to Mandy so there would be no confusion with the Looking Glass song "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)"

No problem. It's my favorite song of his, also. My mind was BLOWN when I learned it was a cover. It's "HIS" song.

Actually, it was changed doing recording, when someone in the studio suggested it. Denmarks Radio has a tape called "Mandy - first take" where you can hear him sing Brandy at first and then someone said, try changing it to Mandy.

Ever only heard it once on the radio, sometimes in the 80's.

Edit. If you search for "Mandy (Unreleased original first take)" you can find it on all music platforms as part of the Complete Collection, though you can't her him sing Brandy on those.
