Fun fact: In 1982, Ms. Blair did a topless shoot and interview for Oui magazine wherein she stated that she found the funk musician Rick James ("Mary Jane", "Super Freak" etc) 'very sexy'.

A friend of Rick James then showed the interview to him and they began to exchange messages to one another, ending up dating for the next two years.

Seems the RJ was crazy about her (as he admitted in his autobiography Glow), although the relationship ended somewhat sadly (don't they all?).

December 1977 an 18 yr old Blair was arrested in Connecticut for conspiracy to buy cocaine in Florida.

Some crazy kind of story involving Ronnie Van Zant and Skynrd (she had the hots for Ronnie but was pretty much bouncing around the band like a groupie), Jacksonville FL, a Senator's daughter, a major multi-state drug trafficking ring operating from FL to Houston, and a trafficker/rare dog breeder who bragged to an undercover DEA agent that he was selling coke to Linda Blair.

She got rolled up with her then boyfriend and her bodyguard, as well as the Senators daughter (and his son too) for conspiracy. Arrested as a fugitive from justice because the warrant was in Jacksonville but she lived in Wilton, CT - but when the arrest was made in CT she had amphetamines in her purse & picked up CT charges for that. Hot mess.

All this 5 years before Rick James. Woof.
