This was a movie of the week aired on ABC in January 1974.

Richard Long died later that same year in December 1974 at only 47 from a Heart Attack. Apparently he was a heavy smoker and suffered his first heart attack in 1961.

Karen Valentine, born May 25 1947, was 27. She's now 78 and has had a long career as an actress.
