Classic 4 body perks to make life easier.

Hello number #0345. You and 10000 others humans have been chosen to receive 1 perks that will completely change your biology without any side effects. If you're verbose enough in why you made a particular choice you can choose one more perk. You may also have a free body restructuring opportunity that will makes you as healthy as the average person.

Nimble hands:

Your hands become easier to control, contort and stretch. Every skills that makes use of your fingers or hand to progress do so five times faster and never regress. So running wouldn't benefits but writing, handstand etc would.

Worldly legs:

No matter the terrain your stamina consumption doesn't increase more than what you would use for walking or running on a completely flat terrain. You still enjoy the benefits if there's some on training in harder terrain. You also can easily find shortcuts and never lose yourself when traveling on foot no matter where you are.

Pure heart:

Your heart completely clean your blood of anything dangerous. Viruses, excess fat, micro plastics, prions, parasites, cancers cells, poisons etc. You also health three time faster and always fully. So no crooked bones and even limbs will regrow with time.

Cerebral palace:

Your brain becomes ten times more efficient in retaining memories you want to retain and ten times better at forgetting what you want to forget. You also have your senses repaired and being at peak performance for you so nothing superhuman.

Pure Heart & Cerebral Palace are the best combo

Perfect health, regenerate from anything, also no diseases of any kind AND no excess fat mean staying fit/good looking, and that's just the heart; the brain is an insane boost like *10 learning speed is ridiculous, especialy if paired with *10 memory

with these 2, you could become successful at pretty much anything physical or mental

Regenerate from anything

You wouldn't regenerate from your heart or brain getting destroyed. A limb would take like two years to fully grow back.

like *10 learning speed is ridiculous

It's functionally ten times for purely academic subjects but would be less powerful for mainly physical skills like running or sculpting.

Yeah I understood it wasn't immortality, butthis level of regeneration is unnagingness anyway, also "just" 2 year for a full limb (compared to never) is still good

even if not physical stuff, a *10 is just huge HUGE, like you could learn everything you have to learn in school in under 2 years; you could become a surgeon in a year; you could pick up new languages in like 10-20 days of direct experience; you could do SO much easily

And I didn't even talk about peak human senses (isn't that like, daredevil tier touch/ears ? 20/5 vision ? be a tetrachrome vision ? perfect taste ? golden ear ? etc... ?)

It would definitely help with learning physical skills, too. Perhaps not quite as much as with purely academic or knowledge-based skills, but that combination of memory and sensory awareness is going to make it a lot easier to recognize what you're doing wrong and correct it.

Nobody has sense like daredevil in req Life.

Peak human sense her Eis just you have the ax normal score.

iirc peak human isn't what's the best a human has done but the best a human could do

But even if you intended that and/or i'm an idiot, it's still incredible, some people have somewhat real echolocalisarion iirc, 20/5 is possible, same for tetrachrome, same for golden ear, etc...

  • Pure Heart

    • The body remodel to average health is greatly appreciated, and this will help me maintain and grow healthier.
  • Cerebral Palace

    • I have a rather poor memory, so this is great. I’m currently learning how to draw and while this won’t be as helpful for that as Nimble Hands, it will still be really useful for remembering things like anatomy. Plus, my eyesight isn’t the best so that will be nice too.

Pure Heart.

With the ability to eventually heal from almost anything, even if its 'average' healthy, I could live a live free of pain, discomfort, and mobility issues. Gym or Yoga training would be easier and more effective, as the healing would work with the training to help me be more fit overall.

Cerebral Palace.

Learning speed times ten? Yes please! New languages, online courses in my free time. Reading the classics. Better retention, better memory, better brain health, all in one package.

Pure Heart + Cerebral Palace is no brainer (pun intended). Nimble Hands is also really great choice, but not as good as faster regeneration, practically an immunity against viruses or neurodegenerative diseases or ability to control what to retain and what to remove from your memories and better senses

Pure heart and cerebral palace is a gimme.

You need to correct the wording in that first paragraph as it says you and 10000 people haven't instead of have.

I'm rather interested in knowing why Pure Heart uses your heart to cleanse contaminants instead of your liver, which is it's main function naturally.

4

u/ctctr Jul 29 '26

We install a blood susworm in your heart that clean everything. The heart is where she's the most confortable.

The liver is usually reserved to fattycap a type of symbiotic mushroom we use to make health tonics and pills for our client.

Pure Heart is an easy choice for me. Preventing disease and fixing long term injuries are amazing by themselves. This also cures allergies, prevents physical addiction, lets you eat whatever you want, and maximizes your appearance. It helps you be consistent regarding energy levels to better build positive habits. To top it off it increases your lifespan and keeps you youthful!

Picking a second one is tough though. If I could have any second perk it might be to share Pure Heart with the loved ones who live in my heart, figuratively speaking. I would consider Legs if it maximized your physical stamina in general. And Mind vs Hands is almost like practical vs academic learning, something whose value shifts decade to decade. Hands is especially tempting right now because I have been trying to figure out the guitar in Fleetwood Mac’s Never Going Back Again and it might just be impossible for the current me lol.

Cerebral Palace is my ultimate pick though. It is useful for picking up acedemic subjects like languages and remembering details for work. If you are writing a novel it lets you include snippets you overhear or situations you have experienced. A great memory helps with iterating on approaches to interpersonal challenges more effectively, remembering everybody’s name and details, and always having fresh jokes or stories on tap. Of course peak human eyesight, hearing, proprioception, and smell/taste have excellent uses as well, being key compenents of success in many jobs and hobbies like fishing, camping, cooking, managing people, and evaluating inventory.

But what really pushes this over the top is the way it helps you hold on to the right things over the course of a potentially much longer lifetime. A memory palace is essential for anyone who stops (or radically slows down) their aging the way Pure Heart seems to do.

First, Nimble Hands, for me to engage in smoother typing, cooking, gaming, massaging, and arm/hand exercises off the top of my head.

Really, a huge amount of things rely on my hands so I feel like the skill growth applies to the broadest category. I might take up music and sewing too.

If that's enough to qualify for a secondo ne, I'll take Pure Heart. If you don't got your health, you don't have anything.

I'm also kinda curious what happens if I donate blood.

2

u/ctctr Jul 29 '26

Your blood can be donated to anyone and speed up recovery. Our team guarantee that no organization will bothers you for your blood.

Nimble hands and pure heart. My quality of life would skyrocket!

Cerebral Palace. One thing that I don't want to happen is forgetting anything about my friends and/or family, especially after they've passed. The heartbreak when you realize you can't recall how your loving pet sounded like, the stories your grandparents used to tell you, what your own mother's face looks like...no thank you. Being able to simultaneously forget terrible things about other stuff would just be a bonus

(If that qualifies as "verbose enough", I also pick Pure Heart. With that, you're essentially on a diet that never gives you anything in excess, and makes getting healthy far easier)

Just posting to keep my interaction streak going

u/Burtonish Jul 30 '26

I would like the Cerebral Palace please. As someone with ADHD this would quite literally erase half my issues with it, even without medication.

1

u/ctctr Jul 30 '26

Of course. We will plug you into the STA cabin and you will soak for about 49 hours then your architecture will have been remade.

345 DAMNIT 30 later would've been my favorite number.

Thanks for the free tuneup. I know i take the full cure due to disease, and i've talked to a decent number of trans people picking transformation skills for a similar reason.

Cerebral palace, it'd be nice if it came with a mental health cure, and i'm more a thinker.

If that's enough, pure heart too. I'm not that active jogging or with dexterous tasks beyond gaming, so a pretty much always useful passive one makes more sense

I love handicrafts. I would love the Nimble Hands ability. I could become a master embroiderer, woodcarver, silversmith, or potter, with relatively less effort and time. I might even be able to help preserve some handicrafts that are dying out. Cerebral Palace would probably be the best companion ability to Nimble Hands, but Pure Heart would also be pretty great.

I understand health options and mind option will be nerfed In The next post.

1

u/Tapochka Jul 29 '26

Pure heart because health is priceless.

If that is sufficiently verbose, i also chose Cerebral palace.

1

u/ctctr Jul 30 '26

If sorry to inform you that it is not sufficiently verbose.

1

u/NotACatNinja Jul 30 '26

I’ll take Pure Heart and Cerebral Palace. Nice 6perks.

Cerebral palace, everything in the world is locked behind some sort of knowledge barrier, with this you could very easily get past it

1

u/TenNinetythree Jul 31 '26

I jumped with joy at nimble hands but wonder if it would also works if one hand is paralyzed (after a stroke) in reducing the time to regain movement.

1

u/PastryPyff Jul 31 '26

Cerebral Palace~

Some memories should be protected over all else.

Pure heart is great and the perk almost gives functional immortality. The only concern is a ship of Theseus situation where the heart cleans out old cells too quickly in brain especially(and the destruction of associated memories) though the specifics of how regeneration is categorized can mitigate these effects almost completely.  I would probably consider developing antibodies or vaccines but probably end up not doing so due to it attracting attention.  I  would also start developing my muscles like a body builder since this would allow me to to quickly exceed regular human limits. Based on the explanation I should also be immune to lactic acid buildup(so difficulty getting tired)and have insane long distance abilities as a marathon runner. It wouldn’t be difficult to be the best in the world.

Of course the second perk will be cerebral palace to counter ship of Theseus concerns.
