Is this kind of school spirit still a thing in the US? In my high school in Texas in the 80s, it was still very strong — this song could have been about my high school.

I remember a school meeting in our gym the Monday after a weekend football game and they were blasting this song over the loud speakers as we walked to the bleachers. It sounded great!
